List four occupations of most interest to you, what major(s) at the U of M you might pursue for each occupation (include what the major’s strong code is), and why you think your interests and personality might be a good fit for this occupation (use resources from the ‘Major and Career Exploration’ handout to gather more information about the careers). Example: Career: Nutritionist Major: Nutrition (SIC/ISR) Why Interested: I think my interests in the sciences and problem solving would make me a good fit for this career. Also, one of my theme codes for the strong was “S” which indicates that I would like a career where I help others. According to Onet, nutritionists provide one-on-one counseling to patients and help create plans for a healthier lifestyle.
