Junior Church – ‘THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT’ We are excited to have a new room downstairs and begin a new curriculum
where we will explore the ways our character displays God’s good fruit and
learn about Christians throughout history whose lives demonstrate those
character qualities. As we explore the expressions of each fruit of God’s Holy
Spirit in our lives, we’ll learn to cultivate attitudes that will lead us to know God
better and become the fruitful people He designed us to be.
Children ages 4 -8 are invited.
For children ages 9 & up sermon note sheets are included in bulletin. We want
to encourage our children to engage and learn to worship with us and grow
as disciples. Ages 9-13 are welcome to deposit their sermon notes in the container on table in lobby for a weekly prize draw.
Put A Child on Your Christmas List We know the best part of Christmas is the gift that was given to us by God Himself.
Christ was born that first Chrtmas day. Jesus was and is the best present of all. Once
again this Christmas it is our privilege as a church family to give Christmas presents to
children in our community. Just as God gave us a gift, we have the opportunity to share
that gift with others. This is an opportunity to adopt a child from the community and
shop for them as if they are a member of your family. Information with the child’s age,
sizes and preferences will be available in the narthex at end of November. We are asking
for $125 - $150 to be spent on each child. You may adopt one (or more) for your family
or you may go together with a friend and adopt a child. If you prefer not to shop then
you are welcome to donate the money to th church *(marked Put a Child on you
Christmas List) and someone will shop on your behalf. We ask that gifts be returned to
church by December 11th, 2016 for distribution the week before Christmas. Please
return all gifts in a large gift bag unwrapped with wrapping paper and scotch tape so
the family knows what was given and can then give the gifts to their child as a
Christmas gift from them or Santa. This is another amazing opportunity for us to
partner with our community and share the love of Jesus.

How do we use this prayer guide? When you gather with women in person or online, remember God delights in your coming
and in your prayers. Some suggestions:
• Offer a quick devotional on Ephesians 3:20 - 21 before beginning to pray.
• Read the weekly verse out loud, several times, before begining to pray.
• Pray the prayers as written.
• Read, then pray the prayers in your own words.
• Plan and enjoy times of silence in His presence as part of your prayer time.
• Play hymns, songs or instrumental music before or after you pray.
• Invite all women in your group to pray.
