If you refuse this one, you willautomatically lose your license for a year. e police will then get awarrant for a blood test, and will take you to the hospital where a needle will be jammed into your arm. Do yourself a favor and TAKEthe breathalyzer test at the station. Truth be told, breath tests are beatable at trail. Blood tests are not.

Here’s how you use the chart:Take the person’s weight (150lbs.) on the left side and match it with the number of drinks (4) at the top. When you get that number (.100), you have a starting point.

She has burned/metabolized alcohol for two hours, 2 x .015 = .03

2) If she had 6 drinks over 4 hours,is she now legal to drive? What’s her B.A.C.?

a.

No. She is now at about .09%. (a.)

.151 - .06 (.015 x 4 = .06) = .091

3) Jill’s boyfriend Mike, weighs 190 lbs, has 4 drinks over 2 hours, What is his Blood Alcohol Level?

a. .079%b. .111%c. .15%d. .049%

d. .049%.

4) What if Mike now has had 6 drinks over 4 hours?

a. .12%b. .082%c. .059%d. .15%

c. .059%.

You can be arrested if your B.A.C. is under a .08 if you are impaired* by alcohol.

Impaired driving: due to the drinking of alcohol, a person’s driving ability is lessened to the point that it would be noticeable to another person.

If you have been drinking and decide to drive, remember to do the following:

1. Turn your lights on. Automatic lights get a lot of people stopped.

2. No cell phone calls or texting.

3. Check your tabs to make sure your plates are not expired.

4. Check the brake lights and the license plate light.

5. Don’t speed.

6. Come to a complete stop when leaving a parking lot.
