Strategy to “out compete” closest competitors
The strategy we would use to out compete the closest competitors D,H and I, is to
use a growth and cost-leadership strategy.
By looking at this chart, you can see that our company F has a very low amount of
chain stores open in comparison to the rest of the companies. This is a major factor
that affected our potential to be very high. By using the growth strategy and
expanding the size and scope of the operations, we can provide more products to
various markets around the world. If more online and chain stores are opened
within the next two years, the company would have a higher chance to out-compete
the other competitors. The other strategy to out-compete the competitors would be
to use the cost-leadership strategy. By looking at companies D,H,I one could see that
they had relatively low prices in the entry level segment, and high prices in the
multi-featured segment. In order to compete with these companies, our company
should seek ways in order to operate with low costs. By operating with low costs,
the products can be sold at low prices and in return bring more demand into the
market. Through using low costs and opening more stores to a variety of markets,
our company will bring in more demand through the use of expansion within the
next two years. . By using these two strategies, our company can strive to eliminate
the other competitors and become one of the strongest competitors.
