Development of Mission StatementThe mission statement is a statement that
relates the purpose for which a school district exists and the primary function it performs.
The planning team develops the mission statement by responding to the following questions:What is the purpose of the school district?Whom does the district serve?How will the district fulfill its purpose?
Development of Vision StatementThe vision statement is a declaration of
where the school district will be and what it will look like in pursuit of its mission and implementation of its strategic plan in the future
