• The Prioress and General Council of the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, Illinois engaged in a comprehensive strategic planning process in October 2010. GOAL 9: Promote right relationship based on the Gospel values of respect and mutuality.Strategies:• 9.1 Stand with those who suffer the misuse of power in our Church.• 9.2 Promote inclusivity in liturgical language and ministry.• 9.3 Respond to injustice in nonviolent, prayerful, and reconciliatory ways.• 9.4 Continue to commit ourselves to the ongoing challenge of becoming an anti-

racist Congregation.• 9.5 Engage in intentional conversations between and among Peruvian and U.S.

Sisters to move us all toward greater unity.

Congregational Goals related to Anti-Racism Efforts:

• SRA will track the Congregational Activities. • SKA will add them into the Strategic Plan as

needed.• The team will be given updates.• Clarifications and questions will serve as an

educational vehicle for SDART. • A time for an overview will be scheduled into a

team meeting on an annual basis and provide an opportunity to incorporate an analysis.
