STRATA OWNERS DAY PROGRAM 1

Welcome

Welcome to the Strata Community Australia (NSW) Strata Owners Day where you have the opportunity to learn, share and meet with people who also live in strata.

SCA (NSW) is about connecting people who have made strata a part of their lives whether it’s as an owner, occupier, strata manager or service provider. Strata Owners Day is an event like no other offered in the strata sector. It’s where you can access information and hear from experts on the complexities of strata living.

This year we have a very exciting line up starting with Jimmy Thomson, Sydney Morning Herald columnist and Flat Chat website owner here to run his Flat Chat Live session. With Jimmy as moderator sharing his many strata stories, this is an opportunity to put your questions to a panel of strata experts and hear how others deal with similar issues in their properties.

We will be covering important issues such as how the new legislation will affect you (there are some big changes coming) as well as topics such as greening your building; how to add value and keep costs down; and dispute resolution.

A number of our strata service providers have also come along to showcase their products and services offered specifically to the strata sector. Please take the time to talk to them and see what’s on offer that might help you and your strata scheme.

We hope you enjoy the day, learn something you didn’t know before and make new acquaintances.
