  The Bermuda Triangle - name of the area of the Atlantic, in the territory of Bermuda. It is the place of many unexplained events like missing of ships, yachts and planes. Some people believe "strangers" are present in this area.

The father of the concept of the Bermuda Triangle is Vincent Gaddis, who used it in the article 'The Deadly Bermuda Triangle'.

In 1965, Gaddis published a book 'Invisible Horizons', which dealt with the legend of the Triangle. After him many other authors have tried to gain fame discussing this topic.

Depending on the author, the size of the Bermuda Triangle is different. Some extend it until the coast of Ireland. However, the most common is the triangle between Miami, Puerto Rico and Bermuda.

The legend was born, along with the history of the disappearance of five squadron of American planes on December 5, 1945 off the coast of Florida (the famous flight 19).

January 1967 - a week in the disappearance of three small passenger aircrafts along with pilots and eight passengers in total

December 1967 - missing the boat "Witchcraft" with two passengers, only about 1 mile from Miami Beach

May 1968 - the sinking of an American nuclear-powered submarine USS Scorpion, 400 miles southwest of the Azores
