Posting Final Course Grades

This module will focus on the following:

• Job: Online college/university instructor

• Task: Maintain records of student attendance and progress (including grades)

• Step: Post Final Course Grades to the college's online administrative portal (prior to deadline that has been established by the college)

Learning Objective for this Module:

After successfully completing the training, the

participant/trainee will be able to

demonstrate the ability to post Final Course

Grades for each course to the college's online

administrative portal in PeopleSoft within a 30

minute time-period.

Objectives of the Module:

• Explain to the learner why it is necessary for the instructor to manually post Final Course Grades in the college’s online administrative portal in PeopleSoft.

• Explain to the learner the correct process and procedure for posting Final Course Grades

• Learner will demonstrate an understanding of the process and procedure for posting Final Course Grades

• Learner will demonstrate the ability to manually enter Final Course Grades (through live, hands-on activities)

Execution of Performance Test (Method)

- Learner will be presented with a series of “gatekeeper” questions

- Learner will also be required to perform a series of live, hands-on activities

- Learner will demonstrate both an understanding of the process, and an ability to complete the process (of entering Final Course Grades).

- The learner will perform the actual tasks associated w/ entering Final Course Grades (in an actual online environment, simulating the actual process that is required of the online instructor, once hired).

Necessity of Entering Final Course Grades

Provide a brief explanation of the reasons why it is necessary for the instructor to manually enter Final Course grades to the college’s online administrative portal in PeopleSoft.

Process for Entering/Posting Final Course Grades

Provide brief video explanation of the process for entering Final Course Grades to the college’s online administrative portal.

answered correctly on the first attempt, and the number of

demonstrations they completed accurately and correctly (within

the time-frame provided), learners:

1). May need additional training on some of the processes and procedures covered in this module

– or -

2). May be permitted to move on to the next Module.
