The only exhibition of its kind at any Pharmacy school in North America, the Story of Medicines spans the first and mezzanine level floors in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Building at the University of British Columbia. This free, interactive exhibition explores the contribution of Pharmacy to human health and answers many common questions about the profession. Mission The Story of Medicines conveys Pharmacy’s essential contribution to human health and is the community outreach component of a larger endeavor: The Initiative for Sustainable Healthcare. Its mission will be to provide an evidence- based voice and an opportunity for ongoing dialogue and research on economic principles of healthcare sustainability, with a focus on the role of Pharmacy and Pharmaceuticals in effecting change.
