Definition A Certified Professional in Erosion
and Sediment Control has educational training, demonstrated expertise, and experience in controlling erosion and sedimentation and that meet qualification standards.
Eligibility Requirements
Earn a BS degree or higher plus three (3) years of professional level experience in the soil erosion and sediment control profession - college transcripts are required.

Phase II Regulations
Established in 1999 by the EPA Effective as of March 10, 2003 Lowered the Threshold to One Acre
