DESCRIPTION

Cofair’s Stormblock Wind & Water Guardis a self-adhering waterproofing under-layment membrane designed for extremeapplications. It is composed of a toughmulti-layer high-strength polymer filmcoated with a layer of specially formulat-ed rubberized asphalt adhesive. Arelease sheet protects the asphalt and isremoved as the membrane is installed.To improve surface traction, a raised pat-tern has been embedded into the top ofthe polymer film.

Stormblock Wind & Water Guard under-layment is engineered to be suitable foruse under all roofing materials. The rub-berized asphalt adhesive and the rein-forced polymer film are formulated towork in higher temperature applicationssuch as under metal roofing. StormblockWind & Water Guard adheres aggres-sively to most clean, dry substrates

including metal, wood, oriented strandboard, foam board, vinyl and masonry.

The special Stormblock Wind & WaterGuard polymer modified waterproofingcompound self-seals around puncturessuch as nails, screws and staples. Thisadvanced system will bond to the sub-strate and will seal around fasteners toprevent damage caused by water pene-tration.

INTENDED USES

Underlayment for shingle, clay tile,cement, synthetic, shake, and metal roof-ing. May also be used to waterproofunder stucco at head, sill, chimney shoul-der, pot shelves, parapets, and ponywalls.

INSTALLATION

• Surface must be clean, dry and freefrom oil.

• Clean, dry wood and metal surfaces donot require priming. Prime masonryand weathered surfaces as necessary.Masonry must be fully cured.

• Do not apply over EPDM rubber!

• Do not expose to direct sunlight formore than 90 days.

• Apply in clear, dry weather at recom-mended temperatures.

• Use 3” side laps and 6” head laps.

• Apply uniform pressure with a 2-3”hand roller to the entire surface.

10-Year Limited WARRANTYCOFAIR PRODUCTS, INC. (CPI) warrants mate-rials to be free from leaks caused by defects inmaterial or manufacturing for a period of ten (10)years from the date of purchase when appliedaccording to published directions and will, at itsoption, resupply or refund the purchase price ofany materials proven to be defective.Misapplication or poor workmanship is specifical-ly excluded under the terms of this warranty. CPIshall be liable for no additional remedies, herebyexpressly denying any other claims for damages,whether direct or indirect, consequential or inci-dental, including but not limited to property dam-age, personal injury to the buyer or to a thirdparty and loss of business or profit arising fromthe use or inability to use the product.
