Radio Mirchi visited the campus on 4th October 2018 for selecting Campus Ambassadors. It provides an

IDP a co owner of IELTS conducted a Seminar for Second and Final year Students on Career opportunities in UK The session also educated students on New Examination pattern of IELTS , and a briefing session on NMAT session by Mr.Praveen Manager IDP

A Guest Lecture on Corporate Etiquette was organized for registered students for Placements on 18th February 2019 by CA Chaya Audit Manager Deloitte .
8 25th February ISB Launch of YLP
Young Leadership Programme was Launched on 25th February 2019 by ISB . Giri Dommalapati explained the students the benefits of the Programme and how it benefits students in obtaining admission in ISB . The concluding part of the session was for sensitizing students on NMAT.

CDC organized a Campus visit to ISB on 6th March . 60 students from Second and Final Year participated in the visit.
JOB MELA
The first Job Mela which is a landmark in the history of St.Josephs Degree & PG College was
organized by Career Development Cell of the College in collaboration with Freshersjobfair.in on 1st

December 2018. The inaugural session commenced at 10.00 am in Jubilee Hall. The Dignitaries were
Mr. Sridhar Gooty, College & Client Acquisition Manager, Freshersjobfair.in; Ms.Shweta Jain, Talent
Acquisition Executive, Hinduja Global Solutions Limited; Rev.Fr.Dr.Vincent Arokiadas, Principal;
Mrs. Esther Ratna. Dean, Academics & IQAC Coordinator, Mrs. N.Srilatha, Head, Department of
Commerce; Mrs.Kiran Jyothi, Head, Faculty of Sciences; Mrs.R.Sreelakshmi, Placements Coordinator
of the college. The inaugural session began with prayer song by the College Choir “Anna Domini”. The
Dignitaries were welcomed and invited on to the dais for lighting of the lamp by the host of the session
Nidhi Taunk from B.Com final year Honors.
Mrs.R.Sreelakshmi, Placement Coordinator of St.Josephs Degree & PG College delivered welcome
address. Rev.Fr.Dr.Vincent Arokiadas, Principal in his address said that Job Mela is a platform which
allows companies to connect with a large pool of potential candidates and also gives an opportunity to
Jobseekers to meet numerous employers under one roof. Ms.Shweta Jain, Talent Acquisition Executive,
Hinduja Global Solutions Limited, Mr.Sri Krishna from Lancesoft India Private Limited and Mr.
Mohammad Mushtaq Ahmed from Dhanush Engg Services India Private Limited also addressed the
gathering and spoke on the expectations from the Job aspirants. They said that the candidates must be
confident and need to possess good communication skills. HR managers of different companies
interacted with the audience and clarified the queries. Vote of thanks was delivered by S.Rithika from
B.Com (IT) final year. The inaugural session concluded with singing of National Anthem.
43 companies participated in Job Mela. 830 students attended interviews of which 400 students got
placed. 85 students from St.Josephs Degree & PG College got placed in different companies. Job Mela
was a grand success.
