FOLK ART WOOL APPLIQUE CLUB with Judy Hasheider

Folk Art Wool Applique Club 2014 will feature

four new original designs by Judy. A wool applique pillow will be the first project presented in February.

Wednesday, June 18th 1:00 - 4:00PM or

6:00 - 9:00PM The year will begin with a pillow with stylized leaf,

followed by a Celtic alphabet that can be made into several different projects...a tote bag, a skinny table mat, a wool stocking and a small decorative pouch that could be used to hold a dried arrangement, small feather tree, etc...

Meetings are on the third Wednesday of Feb, Apr,

Jun, Aug, Oct and Dec. An afternoon group meets from 1:00-4:00PM and an evening group from 6:00-9:00PM.

The club fee is $55.00 and all patterns are included.

MUCKLED NINE PATCH Easy and very addicting! Using 8 fabrics that have a color flow, you could combine 9 patches and squares for an overall blended effect. Sewn together with Judy’s innovative style, it allows you to assemble the quilt with-out laying it out. The end result is a satisfying surprise. Judy has added an enlarged version with incorporated border. Includes pattern. 1 session Mon. Jun 23 5:30 - 9:00 Judy Hasheider $35.00

JUDY’S TALL GRASS QUILTERS Quilt Sitters Circle was initially based on the tech-

niques and patterns of Mary Ellen Hopkins. Over the years it has evolved and is now based on the designs of Judy Hasheider.

Our club will now be called...Judy’s Tall Grass

Quilters...and will no longer have any requirements for membership. Each meeting will feature a pattern created by Judy, a showing of new products in the shop and lots of inspiration from a show and tell of members.

We will meet the second Tuesday of the odd

months (Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sep, Nov) at 1:30PM or 7:00PM.

For those wishing to participate, our year will also

feature a medallion quilt project, “Round by Round”. Even if you decided not to make the project, you will have five great borders for future quilts of your own. January’s meeting will give you the basis of where to start with your center, giving you ideas and size require-ments. Each meeting after that will give you a new bor-der to add onto your center.

Tuesday, May 13th 1:30PM or 7:00PM

January is the best time to join but new members

are always welcome. The fee for the year is $55.00. If you bring a guest, the guest fee is $12.00.

BUILDING BLOCKS SEAMING Terry will teach the seaming to make your blocks

into an afghan.

Thursday, May 22nd 6:00 - 7:30PM

$15.00 Class Fee

SUPER 60 CLUB With Judy Hasheider

This new club is based on the equilateral (60º)

triangle and will be presented as a class rather than a meeting format.

What is so fun about this is...all the angles and opti-

cal illusions make it look so much harder than it really is! Each session will focus either on a particular pattern and its variations or on a technique. There will be some-thing offered for everyone, building from the easiest de-signs to set-in work. If you know basic quilting skills, you can do this.

We’ll meet every three months for a total of four

meetings throughout the year and you will receive at least eight patterns.

Thursday, June 19th, September 18th & Tuesday, December 9th

1:00PM or 5:30PM The fee for all four classes is $85.00 or you may

sign up for individual classes for $30.00 each class.

KNITTING & CROCHET RETREAT Take a little time for yourself to relax and enjoy knit-

ting or crocheting with friends and fellow knitters and crocheters.

You will receive a 10% discount on all your pur-

chases during retreat mornings.
