This Hand Receipt Manual provides a listing on a preprinted DA Form 2062(Hand Receipt) of accountable End BII, and AAL items related tothe following:

Section II of this manual is an overprinted DA Form 2062 consistingof exactly the same items, the same sequence, as the End and AAL listings in the Operator/Organizational Manual TM 9-1425-429-12.The overprinted DA Form 2062 will aid the property accountability officersin preparation of hand receipts referred by AR 710-2.

Section III of this manual is an overprinted DA Form 2062 con-sisting of exactly the same items, in the same sequence, as the End

and AAL listings in the maintenance manual 9-6920-429-12 werprinted DA Form 2062 will aid the property accountability officers

in preparation of hand receipts referred by AR 710-2.

Sections IV and V of this manual are overprinted DA Forms 2062 con-sisting of exactly the same items, in the same sequences, as the End

Refer to chapter 2, AR 710-2. Additional information required to completeDL Form 2062 is listed below:

Hand receipts shall identify the accounting requirement status ofall line item entries via the description column for each item: i.e., thefirst entry in the description column shall be the line item’sExpendability (EXP)/Account.ing Requirements Code (ARC), in parentheses infront of the line item name. One of the following codes will apply:

(N) for Nonexpendabie: Items not consumed in use,retaining their identityduring use, and requiringthat accountability bemaintained throughout thelife of the item.

(D) for Durable: Nonconsumable componentsof sets, kits, outfits, andassemblages; all toolsin FSC’S 5110, 5120, 5130,5133, 5136, 5140, 5180,5210, 5220 and 5280: andany other nonconsumablewith a price in excess of$50.00 not already “N”.

(X) for Expendable: Items regardless of typeclassification or pricewhich are consumed in use.Includes all class 9repair parts. Items notconsumed in use which cost$50.00 or less and notalready “N” or “D”.
