Joint training course on Air Traffic Control

St Theresa International Col-lege (STIC)’s managementteam met with the executivecommittee of the Civil AviationTraining Center for furthertalk, discussion and seeking co-operation on Memorandum ofUnderstanding (MoU) agree-ment. The MoU will also covera joint training course to be or-ganized on Intensive Air TrafficControl for new STIC studentsin Air Traffic Control by the twoinstitutions. The recent meet-ing was held on April 18, 2014at the Center’s Meeting Room.

The visitors were including Assoc Prof Dr Kanit Kiewvichai, Assist Prof Dr Nittaya Kanta-wong, Ms Kannikar Baramee, and Ms Pattrawajee Theerakeerayut from the Teachers Coun-cil met and discussed with the STIC management and then interviewed with some studentsat the Maria Theresa Meeting Room before they were on the inspection tours to the campus’sfacilities on April 22, 2014.

Prof. Dr. Rosario P. Alberto, Dean of Graduate School, StTheresa International College, Thailand presented a re-search paper co-authored by Dr. Sunny Gabinete, Dean,College of Education, Iloilo University, Philippines at the7th International Conference on Educational Reform2014(ICER 2014) held in H��ng Giang Hotel, Hue, Viet-nam on March 15-16, 2014.

The conference theme is “Innovations and Good Practicesin Education: Global Perspectives”.

The St Theresa International College (STIC) management team is seen posing for the photosession with Miss Songkran beauty contest winners during the STIC Songkran Festival 2014held on April 10, 2014 at STIC Fairgrounds (the lawn behind the STIC Administrative Build-ing).

Later on, Miss Songkran beauty contest winners were publicly announced, as the followingMiss Songkran winner was Kullanit Phongpanpanit (No 4), the first-runner- up was Miss JillaWatthana Aungkul (No 2) , and the second-runner up was Miss Rawiwan Jeadtapongpakde(No 3). Meanwhile, the honorable prizes went to Miss Pawanrat Surapee (No 1), Miss Sunisa Thong-sou (No 5) and Miss Kornkanok Boonpong (No 6) respectively.

Ajarn Potjana Piyapakorn-chai, Director of The Office ofPolicy and Planning held theworkshop on Strategic Planand Operation Plan for the Ac-ademic Year 2014 for the FirstPhase on April 8, 2014 atMaria Theresa Meeting Room.The participants reviewed anddiscussed the vision, strategy,indicator, goal and target ofthe work plan.

The Phase 2 of this workshop will be held on April 29, 2014 focusing on planning for the Aca-demic Year 2014 for each department, faculty, and office so as to be consistent with strategicplan and outcomes in 2013.

Attending the workshop here were Dr Piyada Wattanasan, President, Dr Chaipat Wattanasan,Vice President for Academic Affairs, Ajarn Suwat Benjathammathorn, Vice President for Ad-ministrative Affairs, directors, heads of department and working staff.

Freshmen’s activity

The Faculty of Business Administration, St Theresa International College on April 2, 2014held the workshop for its new 400 students on “E-Learning and IT” which was presented byFaculty Dean Dr Chaipat Wattanasan, and on Learning Plan and Time Management whichwas presented by Deputy Dean Ajarn Vanee Photinakhon. This afternoon activity was or-ganized by the Faculty’s Academic Department for them so that the new students could getacquainted with these topics.

St Theresa International College organized the Ori-entation Day for new students on March 24, 2014 atits Joseph Marie Building. Dr Theresa VirachaneePhromsuntorn, Vice Chairperson of the CollegeCouncil graciously presided over the Opening Cere-mony while President Dr Piyada Wattanasan deliv-ered her welcoming remarks to the audiences.

The Faculty of Business Administration organized the Orientation Day for its new studentson March 24, 2014 at the Joseph Marie Building. Ajarn Vanee Photinakorn, Deputy Dean ofthe Faculty delivered the welcoming remarks and also gave a talk on the qualifications of de-sirable student‘s behaviors and desirable graduates, student‘s life in the campus, and a successin the study. Lastly, Dr Chaipat Wattanasan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Deanof the Faculty of Business Administration presided the closing ceremony.

Graduation Day and Farewell Ceremony for Nursing Students , Batch 4

St Theresa International College ‘s Faculty of Nursing Science organized the AchievementCertificate presentation and Farewell ceremony at the Joseph Marie Auditorium on March 7,2014. The ceremony was held for the 96 new graduate students this year.

Some nursing graduates are seenhere hugging their lecturers/ teachersof the Faculty of Nursing Science inemotion when they gathered at theAchievement Certificate presentationand Farewell ceremony which washeld at the Faculty at St Theresa In-ternational College, Rangsit campus.

The ceremony was organized for 96new graduate students this year atthe Campus's Joseph Marie Audito-rium on March 7, 2014.

Ms Wardeeyah Damaeng, the most outstanding studentin Nursing Science, Batch 4 is seen receiving the award ofhonour from Dr Theresa Virachanee Promsuntorn, ViceChairperson of St Theresa International College duringthe Graduation Day ceremony held on March 7, 2014 atJoseph Marie Auditorium.

Wardeeyah, nicked name “Yah”, 25, is one of the 96 newgraduate students in the field of Nursing Science from StTheresa International College this March, 2014. She fin-ished the Bachelor Degree in Nursing Science with theGrade Point Average of 3.62.

Ms Ratchadaporn Ms Ratchadaporn Sangeunsak, 22 or "Nong Pad" is a newgraduate student in the field of Nursing Science from StTheresa International College this March, 2014. She tellsher story about life, education and her near future in aninterview with STIC NEWS.
