My name is Stevanus Kurniawan and I’m a 3rd year student of visual communication design in School of Design Binus University.
As a person who loves “Design and Art”, I am willing to learn more about it especially in branding, editorial and typography. I love the thinking of Aesthetic although I’m such a logic man.

MaruMaru
college project
MaruMaru was established in 2007. It focusses on selling computer and its accesories. �e main target for this store are students, and resellers. �e name of MaruMaru itself was made from Japanese language (kanji : Maru means correct).
To develop their business, they usually build a strong connection with the customers. From this relationship value, I began my rebranding concept with the idea of “everlasting connection”.

Cakra Interbenua is a company focusing on selling eco-manufactory machine. �e owner want to make an identity for his company that can be re�ecting about his vision and the core value of Cakra Interbenua.
Helping earth, balancing the polution and nature is one of the biggest vision of this company based on the "Yin Yang" chinese theory. �e main target of this company are some big corporates which need tools for their factory.

Primajasa is one of some (big middle) company for transportation in Jakarta. First established to serve the customers with Bus Transportation in 1991. With the spirit of development, Primajasa became bigger and started to giving more service for their lovely customers.
Primajasa now has been grown and developed with taxi transportation and tourist rental bus. With passion to serve customer, I began this process of rebranding with a Big Idea : Loyality. �e logo also made by the combination of the promise of being on-time and safety, with love, joy, and kindness for customers.

It is a typeface design based on the combina-tion form of Bodoni with the element of Batik Mega Mendung, Cirebon, West Java - Indonesia. Batik Mega Mendung is an acculturation culture from China. �is pattern was brought to Java as a present from the Chinese Princess for Sultan Syarif Hidayatullah (Sunan Gunung Jati).
As an honor of Him, I named this typeface “S” stands for Sultan Syarif Hidayatullah.

In-sight is a personal project for Seger Exhibition 2013. Seger Exhibition is a following event from the Study Tour held by a class called 06PDU Visual Communication Design, Binus University.
Of the speakers, I learned that sometimes there are places or people we do not expect that they have really something to learn in them.
Deep understanding of someone or something makes a new level of creativity.

Candik Ayu is a traditional herbs speci�cally designed for women. Containing the essence of indian camphorweed with 3 di�erent taste. Candik Ayu herbs reduce the excess mucus in the female organs and also refreshing body.
Namestyle was made re�ecting the character of Javanese women who have a great attitude, beauty, so� hearted, and graceful. �e package were made for the exclusive women who care about their body and beauty.

For saving water today, I design a social campaign for a whole family with a fun approach. We don’t realize that a small thing can really save the earth from water crisis. Using more glasses in a day is wasting the water, so this campaign is made to remind a whole family not to use more than one glass a day. �e campaign is held by MATOA cooperation with Binus University.

10 Years Together//

Celebrating 10 years wedding anniversary, David and Vitalis (clients) wanted to give a special invitation for Arman and Al�na. Clients want to make a beautiful dinner for their friend in a lovely cafe, so they need a special invitation card for this present.
I design this card with the harmony of peace, love and joy expressing their 10 years love story.
