9 a.m.–noonBrookdale Residence Hall, 50 East 34th Street, First Floor, Back LoungePick up your room keys, laundry cards and mailbox key before moving in to your room. If you are unable to pick up your keys during this time, representatives from the University Housing and Residence Life office will be on campus until midnight on Sunday, January 22, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, January 23.
OFFICE OF STUDENT FINANCE

DORM FIOS SET UP
10 a.m.–12:15 p.m. and 1–3 p.m.Brookdale Residence Hall, 50 East 34th Street, First FloorGraduate Assistants will be available from the Housing Department to help with your dorm wireless Internet setup.
PLACEMENT TESTS
11 a.m.–1 p.m.Placement tests will be administered on a drop-in basis. Allot approximately one hour for each of your required placement tests.
Hebrew
Room 301For students who have not taken the written Hebrew placement exam. Results will be distributed on Monday at your academic orientation.
Stern College Math Proficiency Exam
Room 319For students who have not taken calculus and who plan to major in the sciences or mathematical sciences. The exam is offered online and may be taken in advance of Orientation on any computer. Otherwise, it may be taken during Orientation. Results are indicated at the conclusion of the exam. The exam can be found at http://sterncollege.placementtester.com.
Sy Syms Math Proficiency Exam
Room 306All Sy Syms students who have not scored a 670 or better on the math SATs or a 30 or better on the math ACTs, must take the math proficiency exam. PLEASE
ARRIVE PROMPTLY – the exam will begin at 11 a.m. You will not be permitted to enter the test room after the exam begins.Note: Calculators are not

Security will take your photo for your ID during Check-In. Pick up your ID later at the Security Session “A Students’ Guide to Smart and Safe Living on Campus” at 4 p.m. Your Yeshiva University ID card serves as your dining card and allows you access to the library, shuttle services, and other facilities and buildings.
