“Facts Tell, Stories Sell”Create your unique storySharing your story creates a relatable connection. People care more about the WHY than the WHAT. This isn’t just a recita-tion of facts, but an opportunity to share your passion and your purpose.

1. WHO YOU ARE: Share your circumstances before Shaklee. Your job, profession, health, or living situation...

2. WHY YOU WERE LOOKING: What was it that you wanted to change?

3. HOW YOU FOUND SHAKLEE: Why did you choose to do something with Shaklee?

4. WHAT IMPRESSED YOU: What did you hope to fix change, improve, etc.?

5. WHAT HAS IMPROVED: How has your life changed/improved? What has it taught you? How do you want others to feel?

6. THE BEST PART IS...

ASK: IS THAT SOMETHING YOU’RE LOOKING FOR? IS THAT SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

AND THEN BE PREPARED TO INVITE TO AN EVENT OR 3-WAY CALL

YO U R S T O RY ( 3 0 - 6 0 S ECO N D S)

ASK:

IS THAT SOMETHING YOU’RE LOOKING FOR? IS THAT SOMETHING THAT INTERESTS YOU?

INVITE TO AN EVENT OR 3 WAY CALL:

» Time it on your cell phone » Say it to yourself » Practice it with a friend or family member

Hone your story down to 60 seconds. Practice it until it just flows without you having to read it. After you have done it a few dozen times it will become very natural for you.

S C R I P T S :3-WAY CALL WITH YOUR UPLINEInvite a prospect to a scheduled call with your Upline, to learn more about the products and Business Opportunity. Start the call by introducing your Upline, their experience, and their ability to answer any questions. These calls provide credibility and firsthand experience for you to learn from your Upline.

YOU:Hi Bob—this is...I’d like to introduce you to my Upline—she is on the line with us. (Edify mentor:) This is so awesome because she has a lot of experience and will be able to answer your questions much better than I could. (Edify prospect:) I’d like you to meet Bob- he has 2 children, and works as a building contractor...

PROSPECT:Hello—yes I have some questions after watching the video...

UPLINE:Your UPLINE answers questions and passes the call back to you. The cue is that your Upline will say, “Does Shaklee sound like a good fit for you…” Or , “Are you ready to start your own business...”

Page 9: STEPS TO GETTING STARTED › files › ShakleeUMerged.pdfSchedule new-member appointments to review health goals and questionnaire. Start texting and sharing Shaklee with the Shaklee

S C R I P T S :SHARING BASED ON PROPECTS NEEDSHEALTH TOPICS:“Since you mentioned your family’s health, I would like to invite you to our next health chat. I’d like to share with you how you can get your family off to a healthy start. It’s worked for me.” Health Chat: A 30-minute conference on health topics and tips. An opportunity for them to ask questions, share testimonials, health tips and talk about the different Shaklee products. OR Wellness Consultation: A consultation to review health goals and products that may help achieve them. Review the product guide health directory, ask questions to learn their needs and make the appropriate product recommendations.

EXTRA INCOME:“I’ve been thinking about you since our conversation yesterday when you mentioned you are looking for a way you can earn enough money to send your children to a private school next year. If I could show you a way to do that, would you be interested? Let me show you how I did it.” Show average income by rank chart for the most recent year as published by Shaklee.

WEIGHT/HEALTHY LIVING:“You mentioned it’s hard to manage your weight, especially with less-than-healthy food all around you. What I’ve learned is your most important meal of the day is breakfast. I now start every day with Shaklee Life PlanTM which is a healthy shake and Shaklee Life Strip—it’s convenient and economical andI’ve managed to lose inches. A smoothie workshop is a great way to set up healthy meals and save money, as well as helping to manage your weight. I’d like to invite you to one this week. ”

FLEXIBILITY:“It sounds like you’re looking to make a change in your life. I can appreciate that you don’t like your job. If I could help you find a situation where you can build a part-time business and have flexibility, would you be interested? ” Assess their interest level: Exploring the business and creating a financial future with Shaklee. Explore earning money to help supplement what they are already making? Show average income by rank chart for the most recent year as published by Shaklee.

S C R I P T S :EVENT INVITEThree steps to inviting someone to your event:

INTRODUCE:“Hi (guest’s name) do you have a few quick minutes to talk? I’m excited about a new business opportunity I found—it’s different from anything else I’ve seen and I’d like to share it with you. My goal is…[Example: “…to help other people experience a healthier lifestyle”] I’d like to send you …(first tool)…and call you back tomorrow to answer any questions.” Show average income by rank chart for the most recent year as published by Shaklee.

INVITE:“Hi (guest’s name). I’m calling to follow up on our conversation to get your feedback on what you liked most about the video I sent you.” (guest’s response). “Great! I’m having a get together at my house, I’d like to invite you to join us. It would mean a lot to have your sup-port. I would like to send you some additional information to look at…(second tool).”

CONFIRM:“Hi (guest’s name). I’m looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! I was hoping you could bring some (…ice for the Energizing Smoothies, a blender, napkins, fruit, etc: This helps to create more commitment).” (guest’s response.) “That’s great—thank you so much! This is going to be fun! See you tomorrow!”

S C R I P T S :SOCIAL MEDIAFACEBOOK SHARING:Post photos to share your enthusiasm with a NEW experience, product benefit, or lifestyle. Share “Before” and “After” photos, e.g., weight loss, difference in skin, or cleaning results in your home. Be sure to mention that you are a Shaklee Distributor.

FACEBOOK EVENT:Holding a Facebook event is a great way to engage a large amount of people at once, and to reach those who you may not be able to meet in person. A Facebook event is a themed series of posts with photos during a specific time period. To create additional excitement, you may offer a special incentive to participate in the event. During that time, monitor comments and reply to private messages you receive. Your guests can join in and comment at any time. Example of themes: just returned from Shaklee trip, earned car payment, just attended a Shaklee event or product testimonial/benefit, received from a specific Shaklee product.

TEXTING BLITZ:This is a great way to create new relationships. Get together with your team and go through the exercise of making a list of 10 people, then write beside their name why you thought of them. As a group, go through the names one by one, create a text, offer feedback, and send. This provides an ideal environment to ask questions, and the group can discuss how to respond to texts that come in as a result of the blitz, e.g., setting up an appointment, invite to an event, or send out samples.

SCRIPTS:HANDLING OBJECTIONSAn objection is just a request for more information Don’t take an objection personally, acknowledge the question graciously.

TWO APPROACHES TO HANDLING OBJECTIONS:

TELL ME MORE:“Tell me more about that…” • Acknowledge → “I appreciate that you feel that way...” “Tell me more about why you think…” • Redirect → “Let me explain how Shaklee works...”

FEEL, FELT, FOUND:Feel → Felt → Found “I’m so glad you asked that. What a good question.” “I know how you feel; I felt that way too, but I found… .” Always end with a statement or question that leads them back to a decision.

COMMON OBJECTIONS:

TOO EXPENSIVE:“The products are too expensive.” I understand how you might feel. I originally felt the same way until I researched and found that not all nutritional supplements are alike. Here’s what I can tell you about Shaklee…

Page 13: STEPS TO GETTING STARTED › files › ShakleeUMerged.pdfSchedule new-member appointments to review health goals and questionnaire. Start texting and sharing Shaklee with the Shaklee

SCRIPTS:HANDLING OBJECTIONS

COMMON OBJECTIONS (CON’T):

DON’T HAVE TIME:“I don’t have time for this business.” I know how you feel, I felt the same way. And yes, time is a really important issue. I found that making the time made the difference. If you really want these benefits, do you think you could find five hours per week? I could show you a way to work Shaklee into your current schedule. Let’s start with the hours between _________ and _________ (two hours).

CAN’T SELL:“I can’t sell.” I’m glad to hear that! I don’t like to sell either! Tell me more about what don’t you like about selling… I like to think of myself in the business of helping people live healthier, happier lives. Shaklee is such a gift. I know when I share my story about how the Shaklee products improved my family’s health and how the products are green and don’t harm the environment—AND can save them money—I’m not selling; I’m SHARING something that changed my life and could change the lives of others!I could show you a way to work Shaklee into your current schedule. Let’s start with the hours between _________ and _________ (two hours).

YO U R L I S TYour lifeline to build your business. Make a list of everyone you know. Use the Memory Jogger to help you identify 100 to 2,000 people beyond your inner circle. Write down every single name that comes to mind. Don’t pre-judge.

This can be a time-consuming process, but it is one of the most critical steps you can take to get your business off to a fast start. Nothing happens in your Shaklee business until you share the products and opportunity.

Here’s Why: Everyone you have ever met is either a candidate for our product or the business opportunity, or they know someone who is.

M E M O RY J O G G E RUse this tool to discover how many people you already know.

Put your Prospect List together starting with the people that are closest to you and with whom you have the most rapport and credibility.(Use the Memory Jogger)

After you have your list together, prioritize your list according to those that are the real “pearls”.

An analogy that applies very well is this:

Suppose you have a bucket of 100 oysters and you know the odds are that there are three pearls in that bucket. You shuck 27 oysters and you still haven’t found a pearl.

What are you going to do? Stop shucking?Of course not! You shuck 81 oysters and you still haven’t found your first pearl.

What are you going to do? Stop shucking? Of course not - you know you are just that much closer to finding your three pearls!Go through the numbers - you will find the pearls!

Next to each name on your TOP 20 list, put check any of the letters: PEARL that apply.

Prospecting script:

I thought of you because (you always have a positive attitude) and you are (an achiever with good leadership skills). I thought you might be interested in learning

more about what I’m doing (the business opportunity).

The people you would most like to have in your business. Then go to the bottom of your list and practice on those that scored very low, so if you blow it you don’t feel that you’ve lost too much. As you get better, move on to those at the top of the list. When you have contacted all the ‘pearls’, then move on to those that have five letters by their names, then four letters, etc.

A. Socialize and get to know your guests While you’re socializing, ask your guests, “What are you hoping to get out of tonight?” and “What brought you here tonight?” (These questions sort your guests as having goals 1, 2, or 3. See “D” below).

B. Welcome“I want to thank you all for coming to our Shaklee Launch Event. Let’s all take a seat!”(And when everyone’s seated…)

“Many of us came here tonight with a goal. (Share a couple of goals you heard while socializing.)

“Unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to hear from all of you, so who else is willing to share in a sentence what you’re hoping to get out of tonight?”

C. Introduce the Shaklee Opportunity Presentation Using the Be Part of the Effect™ slides, present the Shaklee Opportunity Presentation. (Follow link or see new tools page at MyShaklee.com for ppt)

“Now that we’ve heard some of your goals, let me share my story with you. Last year I noticed…” (Share your story at the appropriate slide in the presentation.)

During the presentation, you may show various optional video segments. It is recommended to play the following video segments as the associated content is presented in the slides: “You know, this short video does an even better job of explaining the Shaklee Effect than I can, so let me show it to you.”

Using these video segments to support these areas of content in the presentation will make the presentation more dynamic and interesting for the guests. (see Shaklee.tv for videos)

And some of you…well, you want all THREE! Whatever your goal is, Shaklee can help you reach it. So which of these goals fits you best:

1 . U S E : Experience the way Shaklee products can help transform

your health.2 . S H A R E : Share Shaklee products with friends and family and earn

extra cash + rewards3 . B U I L D : Build a team in a way that works for you and fits your life,

with the potential for significant financial rewards.

“For those of you interested in sharing products, I can help you by hosting an event for you and your friends…at your house or mine. “Before” photos can be a way to motivate you to getstarted, and are a great way to track your progress. Looking at your photos daily helps you stay focused on your goal. Keep your “before”photos out where you can see them ie. on the refrigerator or mirror.

TIPS FOR TAKING YOUR PHOTO:• Use a simple location for your background, uncluttered, in front of a wall, no windows• Take the photo in portrait mode instead of landscape so you can see yourself from head to toe• Attire should be form fitting ie exercise clothes, or tank tops to show your shape• If you can, get someone to take the shots, if not use a timer—and a tripod (10 seconds usually works)• Lighting is key, so be sure to have the area well lit for your photo

WHAT SHOTS TO TAKE:

FRONT VIEW:Stand up straight with your feet hip-width apart, Arms at your side but off your hips—so you can see the shape and width of your hips.

FRONT VIEW WITH POSE:Same as above but flex your biceps in a classic weight trainer’s pose.

BACK VIEW:The same as front view, but with your back to the camera.

SIDE VIEW: Stand up straight, arms hanging down at your side. Make sure your hands are in the middle of your thigh. You don’t want your hand blocking your outline.

AFTER YOU HAVE TAKEN THE PHOTOS:Email your “before” and “after” photos to Shaklee at: [email protected]. (If you are emailing photos from your phone please pick the option to send photos at actual size when prompted.)

AFTER PHOTOS:Take your “after” photo on the last day of your 100 day challenge. Be sure to smile, have good posture, good lighting, project energy and enthusiasm. Take the pictures in the same spot and under the same circumstances. Upload it to your Facebook page using the 180 template, and share your 100 Days to Amazing success story!

If you’ve lost more than 1 – 2 pounds a week, add the following to your success story:Results and experiences from the Shaklee 180 Program are unique for each person, so results may vary. Participants following the weight loss portion of the Shaklee 180 Program can expect to lose 1 – 2 pounds a week.

TIPS FOR TAKING YOUR MEASUREMENTS:Take your measurements the morning of the photo shoot, or the day before. Don’t go with measurements that are more than a week old. At the very least, weigh yourself and take measurements of your thighs, hips and waist. Make sure your measure-ments are taken in the morning and not after your workout.

CHEST (lift up your arms, wrap the tape measure around your chest, and then lower your arms)

WAIST (at the belly button for consistency)

HIPS (measure the widest part of your hips)

THIGH (left or right, but pick the same spot on your thigh each week)

Holding a Facebook event is a great way to engage a large amount of people at once, and to reach those who you may not be able to meet with in person.

A FACEBOOK EVENT IS SOMETHING EVERYONE CAN DO!You don’t have to be tech savvy, you just have to love what you do!

Many Shaklee distributors have had great success and have grown their business as a result of holding these online events. This is a great way to get your team into action and highlight what makes you and Shaklee so special.

Have you or someone on your team recently returned from a Shaklee trip? Have you just earned your biggest check? Did you earn a car payment? Just attended a Shaklee event? Learn something new and interesting you can’t wait to share?

The great news is that an online event is so easy to do and just needs a little preparation! A Facebook event is simply a series of posts with photos during a specific time period. You can choose the duration of your event, and during that time monitor comments and reply to private messages you receive. Your guests can join in and com-ment at any time.

CHECK OUT THESE EXAMPLES FROM HARPER GUERRA:

YOU CAN HOLD A FACEBOOK EVENT AT ANY TIME — anywhere, and people can participate wher-ever they may be. You don’t have to leave the house, and your “guests” can be across the country in their pj’s!

You share information and ideas just as you would when holding a meeting or doing a presentation at home.

FAC E B O O K E V E N T S

Page 44: STEPS TO GETTING STARTED › files › ShakleeUMerged.pdfSchedule new-member appointments to review health goals and questionnaire. Start texting and sharing Shaklee with the Shaklee

FAC E B O O K E V E N T SHERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF A SEQUENCE OF POSTS:

• Start with your WHY. For example, in your first post you might post a picture of yourself and tell your brief Shaklee

story…why you joined Shaklee, and what you love most about having a Shaklee business.

• Share information about the company.

• Show an example of The Shaklee Difference.

• Showcase your favorite Shaklee products. Ask people how you can help them with their needs.

• Let people know about the possibilities of the Shaklee business opportunity.

• Show join options. Share information along with a picture of the Join Free options from the flier

• Have people view a brief Shaklee video. There are so many to choose from on Shaklee.tv, from products, to The Shak-

lee Effect to opportunity and events. Ask them to comment on what they think about what they saw

• Thank everyone for joining your event and let them know how they can get further information.

(Note that you are not limited to these suggestions or the amount of posts you publish on any particular subject. This is just a guide as to a sequence of posts you might consider.)

People can comment publicly on your posts, but a lot of the interaction will also be behind the scenes as you ask people to Private Message you if they have questions, would like to learn more, or if they want to place an order.

To encourage participation, you can offer prizes for those who comment, ask a question or place an order. For example, you can tell people in your posts that all who attend will be entered into a raffle for a Shaklee product.

A Facebook event can only officially be hosted by one account. However, you as host can still have others participate in your event by mentioning them in the event description. And, you can also tag others in your posts to include them in the event

Many of our Field Leaders have shared the advantages of creating custom lists on Facebook. A DOOR “OPENER” TO SHAKLEE: Many of our Field Leaders are introducing Shaklee products by hosting Smoothie Workshops. It provides an opportunity for a group to get together, prepare smoothies for the week, while mixing and mingling and sharing tips with each other. This can be a great new way to engage a group to encourage each other with healthy eating and weight management.

Smoothie Workshops are also a great door opener to the world of Shaklee and introduction to our other products. The workshops appeal to a demographic looking for convenience and easy meal prep with ready to mix smoothies on hand.

MARKETING: Create Special Offers:• With a 100 PV purchase the workshop fee is waived:For example: $25 for 7 smoothies or $25 off for 14 smoothies - value $50 Save $25! Offer host specials:• Get your smoothies free—$25 value

Invite your guests to a smoothie workshop. It’s a good way to introduce your current customers to a new Shaklee product or new prospects to Shaklee. Here’s how:

1 Ask guest to bring a cooler $25 (7 smoothies)$50 (14 smoothies)

2 Prepare smoothie ingredients

3 Take home and freeze

4 Add liquid and blend in blender

5 Enjoy!

Your guests are there to have fun and you make this a super easy processThey go home with 7 or 14 delicious freezer-ready shake packs. Then all they do is empty the contents of freezer pack into blender, add liquid and blend! Quick and easy way to make a healthy and delicious meal!

HOST: Provides protein and all shake ingredients (except the liquid), recipe sheets, and labels for the baggies.

RECIPES: Create your own or use other people’s. This is a fun way to introduce people to new ideas that will help them like smoothies more! Try to get veggies into the recipes so that people understand that this is a great way to get a veggie in without much prep! Be careful to not put ingredients that would be expensive or difficult to find. It might be a good idea to make sure the extracts you use - if any - are not artificial and support the Shaklee Difference in that way.

GROCERIES: Each guest will get the equivalent of about 1 canister of protein mix but because there are different flavors on the recipes, you will need multiple canisters. It might be helpful to back into this by seeing how many guests you want to have in total then how much shake mix to buy instead of waiting to see how many guests say yes and then buying the shake mix. It could put you in a bind to have to pay for expedited shipping. It is helpful if you can work this to be a family pack or some pack of smoothies that will give you an Autoship discount.

GROCERY SHOPPING: Can be expensive. Frozen is not a bad option as you are just putting it back into the freezer! Don’t forget freezer bags - gallon and sandwich size are preferred. Some of your groceries will be saved for the next work-shop. It is simplest to plan to buy as though everyone will be making 2 of each smoothie recipe. WORKSHOP: Have the table prepared with all the ingredients prepared (washed, diced, whatever the recipe calls for), measuring cups and measuring spoons out, and if you have something - a cup to put the baggie in so you can fill. (Place the baggie inside the cup and fold over the edge all around to steady it.) Sanitize cutting boards with Basic-G and rinse thoroughly to reduce the possibility of food-borne illnesses from the fruits and vegetables.

Open with an introduction like you would any other event.

Have them choose their 7 or 14 recipes, label their sandwich baggies, put on an apron and then they can get started making their packs.Chat while working - this is an opportunity to get to know your customers or prospects better.

Make sure to let people know if you will do any hostess specials if they host a workshop in their home for their friends.Have some protein balls or snack bar samples on the work table for them to try.

That’s all there is to it!

SCRIPTS:LIFESTYLE AND DIET SCOREI would love to go over your Healthprint™ Assessment…….can we spend 10 minutes together?

DIET SCORE EXAMPLE:Your Diet Score shows you are already making positive choices for better health. The 3 key things to remember are:Based on your health goals (these will vary depending on their answers to the individual questions):1. Eat your veggies…at least 3 servings a day2. Include more fish……3. Eat 2 to 3 servings of fruit everyday……

Now, I realize, this may not always be convenient or easy to accomplish... which is why taking a nutritional supplement is often recommended to supplement your diet.

The reason I take supplements is to complement and balance my diet. orMany of my customers choose to take supplements, because it is not always easy to prepare the right foods every day for the daily recommended fruit and vegetable servings.

LIFESTYLE SCORE EXAMPLE:Your Lifestyle Score shows you are doing a lot of things right…. Additional recommendations for things to do are provided.

For example (varies depending on answers to questions):1. Energy pick-me-up2. Healthy outlook on stress3. Healthy sleep habits

3 Shaklee Monthly PV Planning Workbook

Building a Shaklee organization starts by first becoming a Director. When you build a solid Directorship, you start to build an organization that will be strong for years to come.

Next is duplicating yourself. By learning how to share Shaklee, you can then teach others to do the same. Develop a customer base and find Business Builders and invest time to teach them to develop a team.

The more you coach and develop Leaders on your team, the stronger your future. Remember to be patient. Stay focused on your future growth as it all starts with a solid foundation!

Included in this workbook are planning tools for you to reference as you approach each month, to plan activities to achieve your PGV Goals. We have interviewed Field Leaders, conducted pilot tests for feedback and now provide you with best practices for becoming a strong Shaklee Director and teaching others to do the same.

Wishing you Shaklee Success as you start your Leadership journey.

4 Shaklee Monthly PV Planning Workbook

MONTHLY PV PLANGUIDE:

Use this guide to teach others how to generate a monthly plan of activities to achieve3000 Personal Group Volume (PGV).

Now that you’ve set your goal on Director, I’d like to show you how to make a plan to generate the PV requirement for Director Level.

Even though the minimum requirement in our Dream Plan is 2000, we recommend you set a goal of 3000 PGV in order to build a solid foundation for your future. The additional benefit of achieving 3000 PGV is it helps qualify you for a Car Bonus and the New Directors Conference at our home office in Pleasanton, CA.

So let me show you how this works. I invite you to grab some paper and follow along. We’re going to do a little math. Everybody ready? Here we go.

FIRST, let’s write down

PERSONAL USEWrite down 100 PV/month, this is the minimum monthly require-ment to earn bonuses.

Shaklee develops and produces remarkable products and all of them are based on a philosophy of Living in Harmony with Nature. They are made from ingredients that are safe, that work, and are sup-ported by scientific research.

When I discovered Shaklee products, I gradually replaced every product in my home for which there was a more natural Shaklee equivalent.

100 PV for personal use is very conservative, but let’s stay with that.

100 down and 1900 to go.

NEXT

IN-HOME EVENTS AND FACEBOOK EVENTS are effective ways to build your business. They feature interesting topics such as How to Help Our Kids Have Their Best Year Ever, Healthy Home-Healthy You, I’m Dreaming of a Light Christmas Weight Loss Event, etc.

These events with follow ups can generate about 250 PV each.

So 250 PV X 4 weeks in the month = 1000 PV!

Now we’re getting somewhere.900 to go - Is Everybody tracking?

Next, one of our favorite activities is a conference call or web event that we call Health Chats.

HEALTH CHATSA Health Chat is approximately 30 minutes on a topic of particular interest. This topic should be of interest to people you know, so they will want to attend e.g., Stress, Energy, (i.e., Everything you wanted to Know About Energy... but Were too Tired to Ask - and other funsounding topics)

Here’s the best part, you don’t need to be an expert. Ask for testi-monials and select speakers who have dealt with a particular health issue – maybe a digestive issue, or immune system issue, or who have children that would benefit from sound nutrition, etc.

And they simply share their story.

Page 73: STEPS TO GETTING STARTED › files › ShakleeUMerged.pdfSchedule new-member appointments to review health goals and questionnaire. Start texting and sharing Shaklee with the Shaklee

5 Shaklee Monthly PV Planning Workbook

HEALTH CHATS (CON’T)

Even our newest Distributors find it very comfortable to invite people to these events because they are short, the Distributors provide great information and explain the Shaklee Difference, and guests don’t feel pressured to buy anything.

After they hear the information, follow up with them. Typically you will get an order of 50 to 100 PV depending on their budget.

So if you invited 3 people a week:3 people X 100 PV = 300 PV X 4 weeks in the month = 1200 PV and you fly right over that 2000 PGV.

900 + 1200 = 2100

Now let’s start heading to 3000 PGV and qualification for the New Directors Conference.

INDIVIDUAL APPOINTMENTS— “Reach Outs”3-WAY CALLS(Healthprint consultations, Product Presentations, Business Presen-tations, etc.)

Appointments typically result in about 100 PV If you conducted 4 / month at 100 PV = 400 PV or more

These are only a few reach-out methods using product and health topics to generate interest.

MONTHLY PV PLANGUIDE:

Use this guide to teach others how to generate a monthly plan of activities to achieve3000 Personal Group Volume (PGV).

THE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

New Members can also have an interest in earning income. Always review and recap with 3 ways to join Shaklee:

USE: Use the remarkable products and become lifelong customers.

SHARE:Once you experience the benefits of Shaklee products, you will think of others you want to share Shaklee with and as a result you can earn enough to cover the cost of your products.

BUILD:You can build a substantial business and earn a career-level income.*

So now you have a system by which you can continually meet new people, some will become lifelong Customers and some will become business builders.

You are now on your way to qualify for the New Directors Conference!

Keep it up - BUILD IN DEPTH by coaching your Directors. Before you know it, you lead a team of Business Leaders and are advancing toward the rank of Coordinator and beyond.

You have joined a community of Business Leaders dedicated to providing a healthier life for everyone and a better life for anyone.

HEALTH CHAT GUIDELINESPV GENERATING ACTIVITY

A Health Chat is about sharing stories of benefits experienced from using Shaklee products. Health Chat is an excellent way to follow up with Healthprint™—invite them to a call based on their health goal or area of interest.

These can be very powerful and easy to facilitate. Please be sure that stories shared do not claim that Shaklee nutritional products are useful in curing or treating any disease.

HEALTH CHAT CONFERENCE CALLS: Hosting Health Chat conference calls is a great way to introduce Shaklee products to new and existing Members and prospects. A Health Chat can be a either 3-way call or a 30 minute conference call with Guests listening to a product testimonial and health story. The best part is you don’t need to be a nutritional expert! This is a casual call in which you simply share health stories and testimonials. Even our newest Distributors will find it very comfortable to invite people to these conference calls because they’re short, informative and Guests won’t feel pressured to purchase product.

You may host a question and answer segment at the end, where people can ask specific questions. You may recom-mend certain Shaklee products depending on the answers and their HealthPrint™ Assessment results.

SELECT A TOPIC OF INTEREST: Select a topic of interest based on results from the Healthprint Assessments. Invite Guests to a call to learn more. Select topics closely related to Health Goals and information from the Healthprint. Make the topics fun, e.g., if the focus is on stress and energy, you could call it “Everything You Wanted to Know About Energy, But Were Too Tired to Ask!”

You can also ask friends and team members for suggested topics such as topics that are relevant to everyday life. You can alternate or repeat your topics every month.

A few examples of topics could include:• Healthy Nutrition for Children• Healthy Happy Heart• Healthy Skin

SELECT A SPEAKER FOR EACH HEALTH CHAT CONFERENCE CALL: Reach out to your Upline or Mentor to help choose the right speaker for the topic you wish to cover in your Health-Chat. They will likely know more people in Shaklee, including your Upline, who may want to be a speaker.

Select someone who has dealt with a particular health issue, e.g., immune system, women’s issues, etc. Have them share their story and how Shaklee products made a difference in their health.

CONTENT OF CALL:• Have presenter share his or her health testimonial.• Include tips on making a few positive changes. For example: regarding their diet, reduce refined carbs and sugar

and add vegetables.• Talk about the different Shaklee products that helped them the most. (It’s almost always Vitalizer™ and the Life-

Strip because they offer such nutritional support.) Share how people feel better after 30 days!• Avoid disease claims for Shaklee products.• Talk about the Shaklee Difference and our money back guarantee. Allow time for Guests to ask questions.

EXAMPLES:“It’s important for me to consistently keep my blood pressure within the normal range. I’ve found that taking Shaklee Blood Pressure supplements along with exercise and smart diet choices, has made a positive difference for me.”

“I want to live healthy for as long as I can. I always feel good and have more energy when I take the Shaklee Life Strip. I also take great comfort in the Landmark Study, which showed markedly better biomarkers for people using Shaklee supplements than those using another multivitamin or no supplements.”

“Once I hit 40 I thought I was losing my mind! I always seemed to be misplacing my car keys and my phone, and with all the stress in my life, was even starting to forget the names of some of my colleagues at work. I have found that Mindworks® has helped improve my short term memory. I feel so much more mentally sharp, it’s great!”
