SMART GOALS

Academic Goal:

My Academic SMART Goal for 2015-16 is: ➔- For this academic year I wish to increase my mathematics grade. last year I ended off

with a 5, this year I wish to graduate with a 6 as a final math grade.

I will measure, or show evidence, of my effort by:➔- I will measure my progress due to the feedback that i am provided by my math teacher

as well as my gradebook. These results and growth will be shown on my blogger page.

I will undertake the following two specific actions to meet this goal:➔- I will take more tutoring classes at home in order to have constant understanding of the

material allowing me to excel in the class. I will also complete the Homework that is assigned to the best of my abilities in order to keep a high grade.

Community Action Goal:

My Community Action SMART Goal for 2015-16 is: ➔- During this first semester I will continue to play football at my club (GRAF). and i will

continue to play throughout the year. At school I will participate in new clubs after school, for example chess club.

I will measure, or show evidence, of my effort by:➔- I will document my experience on my blog and it will be evidenced by photos as well as

videos of my activities .

I will undertake the following two specific actions to meet this goal:➔

- First I will always attend to football practice and constantly try my absolute hardest in order to keep on improving my skills and stay a part of the starting line up. As for the other activities I will try and attend the club as much as possible but keeping my football as a priority.

Community Service Goal:

My Community Service SMART Goal for 2015-16 is: ➔- This year I will participate and complete at least 6-7 community service projects in order

to complete my CAS requirements. All of my activities and progress for this will be documented on both blogger but also Managebac.

I will measure, or show evidence, of my effort by:➔- The same as my “Action goals” I will use photographs as well as written reflections and

post these on blogger as well as Managebac.

I will undertake the following two specific actions to meet this goal:➔- I will meet/ undertake these goals by staying actively involved with my activities in order

to complete them to the best of my abilities but also as soon as possible in order to focus on other responsibilities of the IB.

Approaches to Learning Goal:

My Approaches to Learning SMART Goal for 2015-16 is: ➔- To improve my Time-Management Skills

I will measure, or show evidence, of my effort by:

➔- I will do my homework on the day it is set in order to avoid procrastination therefore also

meeting my academic smart goal. My progress will be evidenced in my gradebook.

I will undertake the following two specific actions to meet this goal:➔- I will make sure to do my homework as soon as it is set as well as use my study

supports to seek help to complete my work as well as complete it alone.
