Stephen Rizzone brings more than 36 years of leadership
experience in data andvoice communications hardware, networking
hardware and software, silicon andoptical components to his work at
the helm of Communicado. Prior to beingappointed Chief Executive
Officer, Mr. Rizzone led several companies in corporategrowth,
product developments and launches as well as liquidity transactions
totalingmore than $4.5 billion in value. Most recently, Mr. Rizzone
held the position ofPresident and CEO for IP3 Networks, an
early-stage Network Access Appliancecompany focused on the Fortune
2000 market place that was successfully mergedwith a larger market
peer. In his previous roles, one of Mr. Rizzone's most
notableaccomplishments includes his work with Ortel Corporation
where he served asChairman of the Board, President and CEO. While
at the company, Mr. Rizzoneimplemented an aggressive plan to turn
around Ortel Corporation and refocus itsstrategic market
objectives, resulting in a successful sale of the company to
LucentTechnologies for more than $3 billion. Another example of Mr.
Rizzone's ability tobuild successful companies is his past position
as Chairman of the Board, President,and CEO for NetVantage, Inc.,
where he effectively and dramatically accelerated thecompany's
revenue growth from $150,000 to $26 million in the course of only
oneyear. NetVantage was purchased by Cabletron Networks for $126
million. A graduateof California State University at Fullerton, Mr.
Rizzone received a Bachelor ofBusiness Administration degree in
Public Administration and currently serves as amember of the LARTA
Institute Board of Directors.
