Pricing Wizard Set-up Webinar

Factory Required Maintenance The wiADVISOR Pricing Wizard is the simplest and quickest way to enter the pricing and OPCodes for all

of your Chrysler Factory Required Maintenance services.

These Pricing and OPCode Instructions is for your reference during and after the Pricing Wizard

Webinar to help you set up your Pricing and OPCodes for the Factory Required Maintenance.

Overview

The Pricing Wizard is very forgiving and even after you save the settings and prices to the live

wiADVISOR Dashboard, you can go back and change anything. So do not worry about making a

mistake or future pricing changes

The Pricing Wizard allows for family/group pricing on services such as oil changes and can also

utilize matrix pricing on parts

There are 5 steps to complete the Pricing Wizard, this User Guide will walk you through each of

steps during the Pricing Wizard webinar

Ensure both the Parts Manager and Service Manager are prepared to participate in the webinar

The Pricing Wizard starts off very general and each step helps you more clearly define your

pricing. Do not worry early on if pricing does not match your DMS in the beginning stages, you

are just defining some broad parameters to check your results when you finish. Remember,

you can always go back and adjust pricing

Step 1: Global Parts and Labor Operations Overview - Labor Configuration

This step is used to set up pricing guidelines. The choices you make DO NOT define the final price of

your maintenance services. It simply sets some universal guidelines for the Pricing Wizard.

Labor Configuration determines how your Labor Time will be set. Factory Required Maintenance

services have Labor Times associated with them. This section is to set the basic (can adjust at later

steps) times for the various maintenance services. There are two ways to calculate Labor Times:

Labor Times to Default to Average Dealer

o Based on existing wiADVISOR pilot dealers LOP Times

-OR-

Labor Time to Default to Warranty LOP Time

o Based on Chrysler Warranty LOP Times

o If selected, you can apply an additional Labor Time Markup %

Most dealers use the Labor Times to Default to Average Dealer as a default to start the pricing, and

then adjust according to their own dealership specific times.

Labor Rate $ and Target Effective Labor Rate (ELR) will be a guide for you to compare what your actual

maintenance ELR is compared to the Target you set. Then you can decide if you want to adjust

anything.

Step 1: Global Parts and Labor Operations - continued Overview - Part Tape Option

Monthly Parts Tape updates will affect your menu pricing on wiADVISOR. You can choose Update Cost

Only, which will not affect the Selling Price (displayed price on wiADVISOR) of the service on your

menu; or you can choose Update Part Cost and Menu Price, which allow the menu to be adjusted up

or down with parts price variations according to the rules that you have applied in this wizard.

Either way, you will receive a monthly report informing you of any parts that require pricing updates.

Most dealers choose Update Cost Only and then manage Menu Price Changes based on part

fluctuations. However, the example below changes the cost and menu price based on parts pricing

updates from the monthly parts tapes updates from Chrysler.

1. Part Tape Option

a. Select Update Cost Only (Menu Price not change)

-OR-

b. Select Update Part Cost and Menu Price

2. Once all your choices are in, click Update (this will save your selections, if you do not click

Update, you will lose your selections)

3. Click Next to move on to Step 2

2 3

NOTE: You can go back and make changes, but beware; changes to this page are universal and will

impact all of your pricing that you will complete later on. If changes are required, select Change

Global Settings. It will only appear after you have performed the Update on Step 1. We only

recommend utilizing Change Global Settings if you want to start over completely.

would be pre-selected. If you are going to use a markup and want to change from what you

configured in the Global Settings, simply click Retail only.
