el ejército alemán y, en 'especial las Waffen-SS, se caracterizó por el uso eictensivo de prendas de camuflaje a lo largo de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Muchas de estas prendas eran reversibles

y mostraban diferentes tonalidades en cada una de las caras normalmente tonos verdes y marrones rojizos para el camuflaje en primavera/verano y tonos marrones anaranjados y pardos para la temporada de otorio/invierno. Este set contiene los colores necesarios para pintar los camuflajes Plane tree, Palm Tree y Oak Leaf en cualquiera de las dos vertientes de temporada. Además, se incluyen los colores adecuados para sombrear e iluminar los tonos de los camuflajes y conseguir así un efecto tridimensional. En este tutorial se incluye un paso a paso del proceso de pintura de dos tipos de camuflaje, uno de cada vertiente de temporada. El sistema a seguir acostumbra a ser siempre el mismo, independientemente del patrón de camuflaje. Un primer paso consistiría en dibujar el camuflaje de la forma más realista posible. En un segundo paso, se sombrearía el dibujo para conseguir profundidad y unificar los tonos. En el tercer y Ultimo paso, se iluminarían los colores para recuperar la vivacidad y dar volumen.

~he german army and, the waffen-SS in particular, was known for making extensive use of camouflage garments during world war two. many of these garments were two-sided and showed different

tones in each side, usually green and brown-red tones for the spring/summer camouflage and orange-brown and dull brown tones for the autumm/winter season. This set contains the colors needed to paint Plane Tree, Palm Tree and Oak Leaf camouflages in any of both season pattern variants. The set also includes the right colors for shading and highlighting the camouflage tones in order to achieve a tridimensional effect. In this tutorial is included a step by step guide of the painting process of two types of camouflage, each one for a different season variant. The system is usually the same one, regardless the camouflage pattern. A first step would be drawing the camouflage in the most realistic way possible. In a second step, you would shade the drawing to get more depth and unify the tones. in the third and last step, you would highlight the colors to get back their liveliness and add volume.

E/ Aplicación del color base con MARRÓN CUERO 70940. Perfilamos con negro cualquier elemento que interrumpa el dibujo del camuflaje. • EN/ Application of the base coat with SADDLE BROWN 70940. we outline in black any element that interrupt the camouflage drawing.

E/ Pintura de las manchas verdes con VERDE OLIVA 70967. Elegimos la ubicación de estas manchas guiándo-nos por fotograffas reales de este patrón de camuflaje. EN/ Painting of the green patchs with °LIVE GREEN 70967. We decide the situation of these patchs using real photographs of this camouflage pattern.

E/ Aplicación de las manchas oscuras con VERDE NEGRO 70.741. De nuevo la documentación con ejemplos reales se hace imprescindible. Es preferible trabajar por zonas y no en toda la prenda a la vez para asegurar el dibujo preci-so del patrón. EN/ We paint the dark spots with VERDE NEGRO 70.741. again, documenting the work with real examples is essen-tial. ft is better to work in each area at a time instead of the whole garment in order to ensure a precise drawing of the pattern.

E/ Sombreado con la aplicación de dos capas de lavado muy diluldas de MAR RON CHOCOLATE 70872. Las capas se deben aplicar con el pincel muy descargado para no de-jar cercos y dejando secar completamente la primera capa antes de aplicar la segunda. Estos lavados sirven para dar profundidad a las arrugas y para unificar los diferentes to-nos que componen el camuflaje. EN/ Shading with the application of two really thinned coats of CHOCOLATE BROWN 70872. Coats must be applied with very few paint in the brush, in order to avoid any drying stam n and leaving to dry completelly the first coat before applying the second one. These washes add depth to the folds and unify the different tones that form the camouflage.

E/ Iluminación de los tonos. Recuperamos cada uno de los tonos originales en las partes ms altas de las arru-gas, conservando el sombreado en las partes en planos de sombra. Posteriormente, afiadimos CARNE DORADA 70845 a cada uno de los tres tonos originales para ilumi-nar aón más las partes especialmente prominentes de las arrugas. EN/ Highlighting of the tones. we get back each one of the original tones in the upper sides of the folds, keeping the shading in the areas on shadow planes. After that, we add SUNNY SKINTONE 70845 to each one of the original tones to highlight even more the most prominent pats of the folds.

La funda de casco se ha pintado en el patrón "Platanenmuster", en los mismos tonos de temporada que usaremos. EN/ The figure primed in light grey. light primer allows mo-re vivid colors. The helmet cover has been painted in "Pla-tanenmuster" pattern, in the same season tones that we will be using.

E/ Aplicación del color base con MARRON MEDIO 70740. Perfilamos las costuras, correajes y cualquier elemento que interrumpa el dibujo del camufiaje. EN/ Application of the base coat with MARRON MEDIO 70740. we outline the seams, webbing and any other ele-ment that interrupt the camouflage drawing.

Cabe desta-car como se unifican los colores dando un aspecto desgas-tado, a la vez que se potencian los volómenes de la prenda. Posteriormente, afiadimos CARNE DORADA 70845 a cada uno de los tres tonos originales para iluminar aóri ms las partes especialmente prominentes de las arrugas. EN/ Highlighting of the front side. we get back each one of the originei tones in the upper sides of the folds, keeping the shading in the areas on shadow planes. After that, we add SUNNY SKINTONE 845 to each one of the original to-nes to highlight even more the most prominent parts of the folds.
