How to create gruesome wounds in a few simple steps

STEP ONE. Apply a thick layer of Vaseline to the area of skin you wish to create a wound. This creates a sticky surface. Take a piece of tissue and separate into two layers, tear into small strips and the strips over the Vaseline, rub in carefully.

Leave a gap in the middle of bare skin and build the tissue around it.

STEP TWO. Take the red eyeliner and colour in the bare skin, colour in the edges surrounding tissue bordering the bare skin.

Add as much red as you like to create a bigger gash.

STEP THREE. Take the brush and apply the powder foundation this makes the tissue the same colour of the skin.

STEP FOUR. Take a cotton bud and cover it in Vaseline. Apply the Vaseline to the edge of the tissue to stop the edges pealing up.

STEP FIVE. Re-apply the red eyeliner to the bare skin, to embolden the colour. In the corner of the bare skin, use the black eyeliner to make it look almost dirty and add some depth to the wound. STEP SIX. Take another cotton bud and slightly lift the edges around the middle surround the bare skin this creates the effect the skin has lifted.

STEP SEVEN. Use the brush to apply some pink eye shadow. Then repeat the process with red eye shadow. This creates the soreness of the wound. Use the purple eye shadow to create bruising my dabbing around the wound.
