The PMX-8DH incorporates a running change to increase the processor memory f rom 64MB up to 128MB. This upgrade supports “Day/Night” screen mode. There are two methods for determining what vers ion you have. I f you need help with this advisory , p lease contact Rockford Fosgate customer support at 1-800-669-9899.

METHOD #1: PMX-8DH Ser ia l Numbers equal or greater than #1017011020-73 wi l l have 128MB memory. Lower Ser ia l Numbers wi l l have 64MB memory.

METHOD #2: Power-on the PMX-8DH whi le connected to a PMX-8BB. 1 ) Press & hold MENU button for 2 secs unt i l SETTINGS menu appears . 2 ) Rotate VOLUME knob to scrol l , then press down to select SOFTWARE. 3 ) Press VOLUME knob to select VERSION. 4 ) 128MB models display “ DAY/NIGHT MODE SUPPORT: YES” & “ MEMORY: 128M bit” .
