Feel Safe - Guest Safety & Comfort:To ensure our guest and employee welfare, The Marker Hotel has appointed a dedicated COVID-19 compliance officer who is updating and monitoring all safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety of our guests and team members. All guests are kindly requested to respect the physical distancing guidelines set out by Government, HSE and the hotel. Our Guest Relations Management team will be dedicated to assist you with physical distanc-ing while ensuring the comfort and protection of you and our team members.

Cleanliness and Disinfecting Standards:Industry best practices and protocols have been imple-mented as per government guidelines along with an accreditation from the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) through Leading Hotels of the World (LHW) and the ‘Feel Safe’ Program from NH Hotels. We have increased cleaning and disinfecting schedules in all pub-lic areas with particular focus on high-touch points such as door handles and lift buttons. There are a number of hand sanitising stations placed throughout the hotel for your comfort and safety.

Employees:All team members have completed training as per the return to work safety protocols set out by government and our enhanced COVID-19 procedures.

5. Our concierge and guest services team will be delighted to look after your transportation requirements and valet car parking. Rest assured our guest services team will be following the disinfecting standards and protocols when parking and / or retrieving your car.

Departure: On the day of departure, guests are encouraged to avail of express check out by simply passing by the Front Desk and returning the keys. The preauthorisation taken at check in will be completed and the invoice will be emailed to you within two hours of your departure.

- If you require any assistance with your luggage, please call a member of the Front Desk team who will be delighted to assist you. - For retrieving your car, please call the front desk by dialing “0” 10 minutes before you check out.

Leisure activities: Please ask a member of the reception team for more details on some of the activities organised by The Marker Hotel: - Yoga on the Rooftop.- Guided walking tours of Grand Canal area and Bolands Mill.- Run Concierge

This training has included; an enhanced COVID-19 health and safety training, new procedures for how to wear masks and other personal protective equipment and physical distancing awareness.

Arrival:Upon arrival to the hotel, you will be welcomed by our dedicated door team who will adhere to the current physical distancing guidelines and ensure they are following health and safety protocols and wear PPE. There is a dedicated arrival and departure route and the Doorman will then escort you to the check-in area, where our reception team will be delighted to perform your check-in and explain the hotel offerings available to you. Some of the measures we have taken to minimise the impact of COVID-19 are as below:

1. All guests upon arrival will be offered a hygiene kit, which will include a facemask, hand sanitising gel and sanitising wipes.

2. At check-in, all guests are required to fill out a registration form for contact tracing purposes with details of home address, email and a mobile number.

3. A full prepayment or pre-authorisation will be taken upon arrival to expedite the checkout process so you do not have to wait.

4. The reception team will offer to pre-book your dining, Spa and breakfast requirements.

Guest Room:Rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every stay. Our dedicated accommodation team follow the best industry standards and protocols for cleaning and disinfecting our bedrooms. There has been an additional focus on thorough cleaning and disinfecting the high touch points. Once the bedroom is cleaned and disinfected, the room will be sealed with a hygiene label and no team member may enter the room before the arrival of our next guests. When cleaning the guest bedroom, the team member will wear PPE andfollow personal hygiene protocols as per the guidelines.

For your safety and wellbeing and to minimise the risk of contamination, we have removed some of the amenities and items from your bedroom such as the mini bar and reading material. These amenities are available upon re-quest at any time during your stay through our dedicated team member by calling room service or reception by dialing ‘0’ from your room.

In Room Dining:A member of our food and beverage team will be delighted to serve your food and drinks in the comfort of your room. Please call our dedicated room service team to discuss your order. All our team members will be following the required health and safety protocols and will wear PPE when delivering food and amenities to your room.

As per the current government guidelines, we are not in a position to provide you with a late night residents bar ser-vice until August 10th Our food and beverage team will be delighted to provide you with a beverage service in the comfort of your bedroom.

Rooftop Bar:We are delighted to inform you that our residents lounge on our Rooftop will be open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and our resident guests will have guaranteed access to this area. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary tea and coffee and light refreshments while enjoying the best views of Dublin city. Access to the Rooftop will be through the dedicated lift located on the ground floor areas and will be provided by one of our team members.

Physical distancing will be adhered to on the Rooftop at all times. Should you wish to make a reservation for times outside the guaranteed times above, you can reserve a table by contacting the reception desk on the ground floor or by dialling ‘0’ from your room.

Breakfast:Breakfast will be served in The Marker Brasserie each morning from 06.30 a.m. until 10.00 a.m. during the week and from 07.00 a.m. until 11.00 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday. One of our team members will be delighted to assist with showing you to your table and taking your breakfast order. We will be providing table service only. Our resident guests will have the option of enjoying breakfast delivered to your room via room service. There will be no takeaway tea or coffee station in the Brasserie for breakfast, however tea or coffee will be available for take away upon request. Please ask one of our team members who will be delighted to assist you.

Lunch and Dinner:We are delighted to invite you to the Marker Bar to dine with us throughout the day. Food will be served from 12 noon until 10.30 p.m. in The Marker Bar and guests are encouraged to make bookings in advance.

Our culinary team have designed an Á la carte menu along with daily specials from our restaurant menu for lunch and dinner. Please call a member of our food and beverage team for more information. Alcoholic beverages will be served as per the government guidelines. Our food and beverage team members will be delighted to show you to your table once you arrive at The Marker Bar.

The Spa:Guest will be able to enjoy and relax in our Spa area during your stay, however access to The Spa will be by appointment only and physical distancing will need to be maintained at all times. During this time, we encourage all guests to change in their bedrooms before going to the Spa. For our guest’s safety and to maintain physical distancing, the maximum capacity at one time will be as follows. - Gym: 4 people - Swimming pool: 4 people- Jacuzzi: 2 people- Steam room and Sauna: 2 people

Spa treatments will be available from July 15th and will be required to be booked in advance. Please contact our Spa team or reception team to assist with bookings. Air Quality:Our maintenance team are following the best practices as per the required standards and are continuously monitoring and maintaining the HVAC system. - All air-handling units, bedroom fan coil units are serviced and the filters are replaced regularly. - There is a constant flow of fresh air intake in to all areas of the hotel and bedrooms. The quality of airflow is monitored at all times through our Building Management System.
