Conclusions

• All key objectives have been reached for the end of 2005

and installation is now proceeding smoothly.

• Half of the machine has been liberated for magnet

installation and is proceeding in 3 octants in parallel.

Magnet installation is now steady at 20/wk and will ramp

up to 25/wk next month. Installation will finish end

February 2007.

• Interconnect must now ramp up to plateau of 30/wk for

the ring to be closed by spring 2007.

•We will make every effort to have a first run in 2007.
