Project DescriptionThe Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is hosting an open house meeting to present construction plans for widening State Road (S.R.) 423/John Young Parkway from four to six lanes between S.R. 50/West Colonial Drive and Shader Road.
Other improvements include curb and gutter, drainage system improvements, two new ponds, sidewalks, lighting, signing and pavement markings, intelligent transportation system (ITS) improvements and signals.
The $27.9 million project is estimated to start in early 2018 and finish in Spring 2021. The contractor is Southland Construction, Inc.
