Spirit of Innovation – Conrad Foundation – Judges Needed
21
Do you want to help foster the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs? Interested in motivating today's youth to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math?
The Conrad Foundation is currently recruiting online judges for the Semifinalist Round of the 2013-2014 Spirit of Innovation Challenge. The program invites teams of high school students to use their science and engineering skills to create innovative products and services that benefit humanity. (www.conradawards.org) They need experts like you in the areas of aerospace and aviation, cybertechnology and security, energy and environment, and health and nutrition to review business and technical plans as well as graphic representations created by students ages 13 -18. Judging takes place entirely online and begins Jan. 17 and concludes Feb. 3.
Serving as a judge will take approximately 8 hours of your time.
If you are interested in participating as a judge, and have participated in the past, you can log in at http://judging.conradawards.org/login using your existing credentials. If you are new to the program and are interested in serving as a judge, please send an email with background information on your area of expertise or CV, and the category you would like to judge to [email protected].
Also, moving forward I will be your point of contact as Jen Fotherby is leaving the Foundation for an AMAZING opportunity with an organization near her family in California. Her last day was Wednesday, and she will be sending you an email with a few more details. We will miss her dearly, but this is a fantastic opportunity for her and we wish Jen all the best. I look forward to working with you in this new year and am always happy to answer any questions or concerns. I can be reached at 832-864-7223 or [email protected]. Many thanks again, Carrie Carrie Taylor Conrad Foundation Education & Outreach Director Office: 832-864-7223 Mobile: 281-642-6981 www.conradfoundation.org www.conradawards.org Like us on Facebook Follow us on Twitter @ConradAwards
