Senator Metts announces that the Committee on Education will meet today, at the rise of the Senate, in Room 313 of the State House.

POINT OF PERSONAL PRIVILEGE

Senator Harold Metts makes a point of personal privilege. Madam President: I rise on a point of personal privilege. Regarding my motives and personal integrity have been brought into question about the Master Lever, in a May 6th Editorial of the Providence Journal; and I need to set the record straight. Why were my constituents called: Misinformed--- Uneducated--- Ignorant--- and Lazy? Such comments not only describe the people from my district, but 104,000 people who voted using the master lever statewide was very insulting. Madam President and members of the Senate, thank you for your indulgence and understanding, as to my position on this issue.

ADJOURNMENT Upon motion of Senator Goodwin seconded by Senator Algiere the Senate adjourns at 4:38 o'clock P.M.

JOSEPH R. BRADY
