Task Books
The ESF 6 CEMP Annex describes “the framework through which a jurisdiction’s departments and agencies, the private sector, not-for-profit and voluntary organizations, and other NGOs coordinate and execute the common emergency management strategies. The actions described in the Support Annexes apply to nearly every type of emergency. Each Support Annex identifies a coordinating agency and cooperating agencies. In some instances, two
departments or agencies share coordinating agency responsibilities.” Source: CPG 101

You can expect to be assigned to the Resource Unit, the Situation Unit, a Mass Care Task Force, or in the field

Resource Unit An ESF 6 Resource Unit Leader
is designated when required and is responsible to the ESF 6 Deputy Coordinator.
The ESF 6 Resource Unit Leader monitors and updates assigned missions, orders resources and maintains the status of resources deployed to field kitchens and other locations in the disaster area.
If required, the ESF 6 Resource Unit Leader is assigned a Deputy.

Situation Unit An ESF 6 Situation Unit
Leader is designated when required and is responsible to the ESF 6 Deputy Coordinator.
The ESF 6 Situation Unit Leader is responsible for securing and displaying ESF 6 situational information.
This position prepares required reports and briefing slides as well as ensures the dissemination of information to ESF 6 support agencies and others as needed.
If required, the ESF 6 Situation Unit Leader is assigned a Deputy.

Mass Care Task Force
Once or more Mass Care Task Forces may be established in an event
State Mass Care persons are requested under EMAC to fill Task Force Leader or Deputy Task Force Leader positions.
ICS trained persons are requested under Mutual Aid to fill Situation Reporter or Display Processor positions.

Mass Care Task Force Staffing
Task Force Leader - The TF Leader is responsible to the State Mass Care Coordinator for leading the Task Force toward completion of assigned Feeding/Sheltering Plan operating priorities and goals.

Mass Care Task Force Staffing
Deputy Task Force Leader - A Deputy Task Force Leader is assigned for a Type 1 TF and reports to the TF Leader. The DTF Leader supervises the activities of the Display Processor, the Mass Care Planner and the Situation Reporter.

State Logistic Center liaisons The State Logistics
Response Center (SLRC) is located in Orlando
The SLRC houses the Logistics Operations Center and the Movement Control Center for the disaster
The ESF 6 SLRC Liaisons perform logistics and movement coordination for ESF 6.
