Welcome to the SEC’s Online Marking System

Dear Examiner,

Thank you for accepting an appointment to become an

examiner in a subject being marked online this year.

The online marking software chosen by the State

Examinations Commission is RM Assessor³ by RM Results.

We believe that the online marking software is easy to

use, and suitable for everyone. It also eliminates the time

consuming administrative tasks associated with paper

based marking.

We appreciate that this is a significant change and we are

putting in place a range of supports to assist you in the

transition to online marking. You will be provided with

comprehensive training in using the software.

The level of training provided will depend on your role in

the team. Most of the training will be face to face starting

with this initial briefing session and continuing with

additional attendance at a marking conference in June

or July.

We have also supplemented this with online resources

such as webinars, recorded events and a system

familiarisation module.

This booklet is intended to act as a quick reference guide

to becoming familiar with the software before you attend

the marking conference for training. You will be provided

with your system username and password via e-mail by

the 24th May.

Welcome to the SEC’s Online Marking System

Over the course of the marking, you will also have access

to a help-desk to provide you with back-up and support. To

make sure that we realise the benefits of the system we need

your help and support in letting us know when things are not

right and by providing your feedback.

The SEC very much appreciates your commitment and

willingness to engage in this exciting opportunity to enhance

the efficiency and quality of the marking of the certificate

examinations.

Without the ongoing commitment and hard work of our

examiners, it would not be possible for the SEC to deliver this

important service to our young people.

We hope you enjoy your training and we very much look

forward to working with you in 2019 and beyond.

You can use the familiarisation mode to interact with the

marking system.

Click the ‘Familiarisation’ button

Enter username and password
