Start Selling on your Website

Selling products and services online is easy. Follow these simple steps to get started:

1. Add a new Page to your site

2. Add your products and services

3. Publish and preview your site

Adding a Sales page to your Website

You will need to add a new page where customers can shop from your new online store.

1. Add a new custom page to your website by clicking the New Page icon.

2. Choose Blank as the page type.


3. A new custom page will appear and will be visible in these areas:

a. Pages list in the left navigation – this is now your active page

b. Menu Item in the website navigation menu

c. ‘Custom’ heading on the active page

4. Click the Services tab at the top of the builder. To insert your online store, click the

Shopping Cart icon in the E-Commerce section (as below).

5. The shopping cart will be added in a new custom content block.

Changing the “New Custom” page to feature your products

You will need to change the name tags associated with the new page to reflect that it contains

your products catalog.

1. Click the Rename icon in the left navigation to rename the newly added “New Custom”

page to a more recognizable name like “Online Store”, “Shop Now”, “Online Shopping” or

something similar.

2. Change the Page Name from “New Custom” to “Online Store” or the name you selected in

the Page Settings form. Your Page File Name will be changed by default.

3. Click OK and the new name will be visible in your Pages list and website navigation.


4. Click on the page content block and change the heading “Custom” to “Online Store”, or

whatever name you selected. Click the Save icon.


Adding Products and Services to your Catalog

1. Click the Add Products button on your newly added store page to launch your product

catalog and add products to your store. You will be presented with the product setup

wizard.

a. Enter the Name of your product or service

b. Enter the regular Price for your product or service

c. Enter a Short Description that describes your product or service

2. Add an image to your store by clicking the Browse button which will display a dialog box

where you will select your image to upload.

3. If your product is a digital or downloadable product, click the Digital Product checkbox and

you will then be prompted to select your file to upload.

4. If your product or service will be paid on a recurring or subscription basis, click the

Recurring Product checkbox and you will be prompted for recurring price and schedule.

5. Once you have completed the product setup wizard, click the Save button.


6. You can continue creating products by clicking the Create Another Product button, and the

wizard will be repeated.

7. By clicking Edit Existing Products you will be taken to the Manage Products page where you

can add more detail to your products like:

a. Sale Price

b. Long Descriptions

c. Selectable options like Size, Color, etc.

8. If you have finished adding products and want to exit, click Go To Store Control Panel. This

will take you to the store dashboard.

9. Now that you have added a product to your catalog, close your browser or click Log Out

(above) and return to your website. You are now ready to publish your site.

Publishing your Online Store

1. Click the Publish icon and your newly added Online Store page will be ready.

2. View your store by clicking your Website URL in the upper right of your builder. Once the

store is displayed in the browser, click the newly added Online Store menu item. Use the

Shop by Category links on the store page to find the products in your store catalog.


3. Once you have published your website after adding your online store, you are now ready to start

selling online! Anytime you wish to add more products, just return to your store page and click the

Add Products button. After the first publish, the store catalog is dynamic; meaning anything you add

to the catalog will be automatically displayed on your store pages.
