ProposalPort Moresby’s newest and largest five star hotel is due to open in mid 2016.

The Stanley Hotel, named after the famous Owen Stanley Ranges offers the

following facilities:

• 88 standard rooms featuring 2 Queen beds

• 88 deluxe rooms featuring 1 King bed

• 110 executive rooms featuring 1 king bed plus access to the club lounge and

full breakfast.

• 13 luxurious suites with super king bed and access to the club lounge and

full breakfast

• 2 penthouse suites

• 95 one bedroom apartments

• 33 apartments with adjoining second bedroom

LuxuryThe new hotel is conservatively anticipating at running an occupancy rate of around

58% in its first year of operations. With a multitude of enquiries from companies

and organisations worldwide, the signs indicate that this could be much higher.

Nonetheless and even using this figure, the hotel should cater to approximately

104,000 guests in its first year. In short, the hotel will assist 312,000 weary heads to

be rested on its five star pillows.

The Stanley Hotel offers the following facilities:

GROUND FLOOR• The Green Haus Restaurant - seats 160 guests, all day dining from 6am till 10pm.

• Rainforest Cafe - cakes, snacks, coffee and tea. seats 40 from 6am till 6pm.

• Monsoon Lounge - tapas, pizza, asian bites, beer, wine, spirits and cocktails from

10am till late.

• Owens Market convenience shop - selected grocery, meat, fish, fruit and vegetables

and gourmet items open from 7am till 10pm.

2ND FLOOR• Kokoda Ballroom - 1600 sqm, seats 1200 for dinner, 2000 for cocktails.

• Mt. Wilhelm Rooms (1,2,3,4) - 70sqm x 4 rooms seats 30 guests per room.

• Mt Victoria Rooms (1,2,3,4) - 70sqm x 4 rooms seats 30 guests per room.

5TH FLOOR• Pool Deck, Gym & Sauna.

• Poolside bar and cafe - burgers, fries, fish and chips, sandwiches, salads, beer, wine, coffee

and tea. Seats 120 guests from 10am till 10pm. Open to the public Wednesday and Friday

evenings. All day Saturday and Sunday. Access charges apply for non-hotel guests.

• Gym - 400sqm of aerobic and strength conditioning equipment. An 80sqm aerobic room.

Child creche available from 9am till 2pm for those attending classes. Gym open 24hrs to

members and hotel guests. Staff on duty from 5am till 10pm.

• Pool - 40 metre lap pool, plus two lounge pools, and a covered childs pool. Pool open to

hotel guests only from 5am till 10pm except Wednesday and Friday evening and

all day Saturday and Sunday.

19TH FLOOR• Executive Lounge - seats 150 guests open from 5am till 10pm for hotel guests only.

Open to members Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday.

• Silver Leaf - dry aged, charcoal grilled beef restaurant. Open for Dinner only.

Seats 60 guests, Monday to Saturday, 6pm till late.

John Batman Group is currently updating the printed in room guest information books

which will be strategically placed in each suite/room/apartment in the hotel.

These prestigious books have been designed to suit the style and elegance of this five star

facility and are empathetic to the fact that guests wish to indulge themselves and to take

time to read and enjoy the myriad of services on offer.

The new publication will have limited advertising of partner companies, which are used by

the hotel, affiliated with its partner businesses or recommended by senior management.

In this way, advertisers can be assured that they will be advertised alongside services that

are truly held within the hotel network. Advertising designs will be strictly managed to

ensure that they work to the brand specification of the Stanley Hotel, while at the same

time ensuring that brand purity for advertisers is maintained. The advertising spaces are

strictly limited and will be less than 40% of the publication.
