A project funded by MHSA Prop 63 monies through a contract with the Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission (MHSOAC).
STAKE Training
• 4 full day STAKE Regional Trainings October—May • In collaboration with County and regional CAMHPRO
Member Organization • Ideal dates, prior to local CPP cycle:
1. Los Angeles Region—October, 2015
2. Central Region—Early December, 2015
3. Southern Region—Early February, 2016
4. Superior Region—Mid May, 2016

Learning Objectives
1. Understand the right to participate in CPP activities which may shape public policy and services for years to come.
2. Understand the background, values base and mechanics of MHSA-driven CPPs and use this knowledge to better act on the interests of the community and/or agency.
3. Learn the venues for stakeholder involvement and the skills needed to give input and participate in decision making in public meetings and planning processes.
4. Understand, learn, and practice skills and develop an action plan for meaningful effective participation in CPP.
