    The stakeholder, being the project teams client, has the greatest influence on this project. Schedule,cost, objectives, requirements and virtually all other project aspects have and continue to bedeveloped around the clients needs.

    The stakeholder requires a relocation plan and laboratory layout plan. These requirements put majoremphasis on scheduling. Scheduling must be completed precisely and with significant time allocatedfor last minute changes, unforeseen stakeholder needs, and relocation time slot flexibility. The projectscope needs to be wide enough to accommodate a potential large amount of needs from Dr. Lipsettsresearchers.

It expects introduction of a new laboratoryto provide more experimentation options to the professors, students and researchers. Thus, theUniversity is interested in a well developed laboratory relocation and layout plan.

    Opportunities:The University will benefit from as a result of the research yielded from studentswho have benefited for the laboratory design.

    The University of Alberta will provide many of the resources needed for the project to be completed

    and will, in some areas, control the scope of the project. The project must also meet and adhere to allof the Universities policies, rules, and regulations.

    The stateholder requires a plan that does not affect operations of its other research projects,departments, and personnel. The University has allocated laboratory space currently being occupiedby Dr. Lipsetts researchers to another research team.
