Welcome! The Biennial Stacks Summit is a time for Stacks professional staff and their families to get together for a weekend of relaxation, fun and celebration (with a touch of business).

The weekend is a great opportunity to (re)connect with friends old and new from across the growing Stacks network while enjoying a well-deserved holiday.

In 2015 we have a record number of attendees, which has meant a move to our new location at the Oaks Pacific Blue Resort in Nelson Bay. We’ve planned some activities but left you plenty of free time to explore the Resort, discover the beautiful surrounds of Port Stephens or simply catch some sun (hopefully!) and enjoy Australia’s biggest swimming pool!

FRIDAY PROGRAMFrom 2pm Check in, take some time

to settle in to your room and explore the Resort.

6pm to 10:30pm

Once you’ve settled in, please come and join us on the Deck!

We know people will be arriving at different times so we’ve arranged a casual BBQ on the Deck, which will be serving up plenty of options for adults and kids between 6pm and 9pm.

The Stacks bar will be open and serving drinks until 10:30pm.

Summit favourite Matt Zarb joins us again to provide his signature acoustic sounds as the backdrop for a relaxed and fun evening.

SATURDAY PROGRAM7:30am to 9:30am

Fuel up for a big day of activity. Buffet breakfast will be served for everyone in Splash Restaurant.

9:30am to 11:30am

Business Session for Stacks Staff - meet in the Zenith Room for a short business session followed by morning tea. Partners and kids can take this opportunity to enjoy the Resort facilities.

12:30pm to 2pm

Lunch will be served for everyone in Splash Restaurant.

2pm to 4:30pm

For those interested to take part, there’ll be lawn activities for the kids set up at the ‘Beach’ at the northern end of the Resort by the pool.

5:30pm to 6pm

Pre-ordered room service delivered to rooms for the kids.

6pm - Summit Gala Dinner

Summit Gala Dinner The highlight of the Summit weekend is always the Summit Gala Dinner. Get ready in your lounge/cocktail attire and join us on the deck at 6pm for drinks and canapés followed by a 3 course dinner in Splash Restaurant.

There’ll be plenty to keep you entertained throughout the night with live music from the Sydney Jazz Collective and a few surprises here and there.

Side note: Rugby fans never fear, the first of the Rugby World Cup semi-finals between New Zealand and South Africa will be broadcast live from the Zenith Room at 2am.

SUNDAY PROGRAM7:30am to 9:30am

Buffet breakfast will be served for everyone in Splash Restaurant to help you to recover from the weekend’s entertainment.

10am When you are all packed, please check out at reception. We’ve covered the costs of your accommodation, meals and drinks but you will need to settle any incidentals charged to your room.

11am Golf tees off at Nelson Bay Golf Club for those that have booked. Let us know if you’re a last minute addition and we’ll reserve some extra spots.
