St. William is again hosting the Ecumenical Lenten Luncheons at Noon on Wednesdays during Lent starting March 8th. Each Wednesday, clergy from different Churches in the area will conduct the service which will be followed by a light Lenten luncheon. The programs always prove insightful and interest-ing, and it is a great opportunity to meet people from our community.……………………………………………………………....…. OPERATION RICE BOWL IS IN EFFECT! Please pick up your rice bowl on the table in the Commons area of both Parishes. It’s easy-throw your change in the box each day and at the end of Lent you will be surprised at how much you have.     More General Announcements ………………………………………………………………….. IN CELEBRATION OF WHOLENESS: IHM is hosting a 7-part weekly program series using Fr. Sieger Koder’s image of the Last Supper. The programs begin at 11AM to 11:45AM in the upstairs kitchen during the Fridays of Lent before Noon Mass. The second of the series is I have Longed which will take place on Friday, March 3. We will explore wholeness by reflecting on this image, in reading Scripture, in hear-ing hymns and singing refrains of praise. Please join fellow parish-

ASH WEDNESDAY MASS is March 1st at 7PM. This will be a Youth Mass with children from our Faith Formation pro-gram participating in the Liturgy. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board in the Commons for Ushers and Eucharist Ministers. Please share your ministry with our children as we begin our walk with Jesus to Calvary. ………………………………………………………………….. LENTEN LUNCHEONS will begin on Wednesday, March 8th at 12 Noon. THE WEDNESDAY STUDY GROUP will meet Wednes-day at 10AM in the Sieglie Center. In coming weeks the group will consider St. Catherine of Sienna, Blessed John Newman, G.K. THE BACK PACK PROGRAM is pleased to announce that they have received a $1,000 Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl Mini-Grant from the CRS Program of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Charlotte. This will help purchase food for the Head Start Program that we supply food for on the week-ends. As you may know, CRS, founded in 1943, is the official overseas relief and development agency of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. CRS alleviates suffering and provides assistance to people in need in over 100 countries without re-gard to race, relation or nationality.
