ST. THERESA PARISH MISSION The mission of St. Theresa Parish is to share Christ with others through

the sacraments, education, prayer and service.

NEW PARISHIONERS AND VISITORS Welcome to St. Theresa! We invite you to contact the receptionist at the Pauline Center and/or speak with a Greeter before Mass for information on registration. Also, please visit our parish website at www.sttheresachurch.org for helpful information, and click on the Welcome link in the About Us menu. Are you interested in joining the Catholic Church? Contact Deacon Larry Schumacher at 847-358-7760 ext. 363 regarding the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) sacrament for adults. Are you a baptized, adult Catholic who has not received the Sacraments of Eucharist or Confirmation and wish to? Please call! VISITATION OF THE SICK If you or a family member are in a local hospital and would like a visit from a priest, please call the Parish Office. Those who are homebound can also make arrangements to receive communion on a regular basis by calling the Ministry of Care, 847-358-7760.

SACRAMENT OF RECONCILIATION Saturdays at 12:30-1:30 p.m. or by appointment.

SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM Baptism is celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on the first and third Sundays of the month. Parents must take part in preparation classes before the Baptism takes place, and are required to attend the classes before the baby is born. Please call the Parish Office to make arrangements.

SACRAMENT OF MATRIMONY Arrangements must be made at least six months in advance. Please call the Parish Office to make an appointment with a priest. No other plans should be finalized until then.

SACRAMENT OF THE ANOINTING OF THE SICK This sacrament offers the Lord's healing strength and peace to anyone who is seriously or chronically ill, hospitalized or about to have surgery. Please call the Parish Office if you wish to have someone receive this sacrament.

Our parish's Summer Suppers have returned! They are scheduled on the 2nd Friday of each month through September.

Pauline Center Closing for Construction Preparation for construction in the Pauline Center will begin Friday, June 22.

The Pauline Center building will be closed to all visitors until August 13.

There will be a receptionist on duty in the Link, keeping regular hours as posted on the Parish website and in this bulletin.

Please note that staff offices will be temporarily relocated, and as such email might be the best way to contact staff until construction is complete in August. Staff email addresses can be located on the parish website www.sttheresachurch.org under “Parish Staff.”

Shipwrecked VBS is setting sail at St. Theresa June 25-29. In preparing for this week of learning adventure, we are looking for some donations of the following items:

• 3 baby pools—will be returned at the end of VBS

• 2—120 count plastic solo cups (red or blue)

• 40 plastic ping pong balls

• 3—100 count pkgs of clear or light colored marbles

• 3 jumbo beach balls

• 8 small beach balls

• 7 rolls of masking tape

• 14 plastic buckets

• 2—100 count packages of white paper plates

• 1 package of 9” green paper plates

• 11 bottles of Welch’s Pineapple Orange Juice
