Our Values
Love Inspiration Grace Hope Truth
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble”
1 Peter 3:8
Message from the Head
We were delighted to achieve an Excellent grade in our recent Church Schools Section 48 inspection. Thank
you for the overwhelmingly positive feedback given by parents. The children impressed the inspector with their
subject knowledge, behaviour and beautiful singing. My special thanks to Mrs Damijo, who leads RE across the
school so effectively.
I wish you all a happy and restful half term holiday

Cultural Evening
We held our annual Cultural Evening which is such a lovely time to come together to share our own cultures, ap-

joined us and even cooked for the event.

St Paul’s Cathedral
On Friday 31st January some Y6 children visited with Father Jonathan St Paul's Cathedral to attend a London
Diocese Board for Schools service; we joined other pupils in celebration of our work in church schools and lit
candles to remind ourselves to be the light to this world.
Year 6 On Tuesday, Year 6 transformed their class into 6 scenes from the Wedding Ghost story and act-
ed out each scene to support their upcoming writing. The children will write in role as Jack, who
is due to marry Jill- the love of his life, only he comes across a map that is addressed to him only
and he becomes spellbound and feels compelled to follow it. Who sent it and why?
It takes him through haunted woods, with dancing skeletons and bony grinners, he fights his way
out of the forest and stumbles upon a castle that has been asleep for 100 years and in the tallest
tower, there lays a sleeping beauty....
All of a sudden, Jack is in the church with Jill, about to get married, but how did he get there? In
a panic, Jack has a flashback of the scary events that just happened to him.
The Wedding Ghost has turned his life upside down...!
