Week 5: July 8-12 MORNING SESSION OPTIONSDANCE MANIA Do you love to dance? Come join Mrs. Dickerson and her daughter, Claire, and learn lots of fun dances to some re-ally cool music. You will learn a line dance, a folk dance, a hip-hop dance, and do some freestyle. You will also learn how to stretch and warm up. There will be a performance for parents on the last day. Rising 2nd-rising 7th graders.

BASKETBALL CAMPEllie Collins will focus on the fundamentals of the game, dribbling, shooting, passing, layups, and rebounding. Ad-ditionally, he will teach sportsmanship and the value of being a member of a team. Rising kindergarteners-rising 3rd graders.

AMAZING RACE Join Beyond the Classroom for an “Amazing Race” where you will experience 10 challenges from different countries. Sign up now to receive your passport! Rising kindergarten-ers-rising 6th graders.

Week 6: July 15-19 MORNING SESSION OPTIONSWORLD TRAVELERHow would you like to journey around the world in a single week? During our World Traveler Camp, we’ll do just that! Throughout the week Miss Harris will lead you on a visit to a different country each day, learning a little about what life is like in that country. We’ll learn a little language, play games from that country, taste new foods, make arts and crafts, dance, and in general explore what life is like around the world. We will visit countries that we have not explored in St. Paul’s World Languages and Cultures class, so everyone will have the chance to experience something new! You’ll be able to take a vacation every day--without ever packing a suitcase! Rising 2nd-rising 6th graders.

ST. PAUL IMAGE MAKERSIf you enjoy painting, join Beyond the Classroom and a guest muralist as we paint a mural on campus! Rising kindergarteners-rising 6th graders.

Week 7: July 22-26 BAREFOOT REPUBLIC CAMP* *Full Day Camp Only

BAREFOOT REPUBLIC CAMPCome experience a unique multicultural Christ-centered camping platform! Students from around the United States and beyond will experience fellowship and com-munity through sports, arts, action-adventure and a variety of other exciting and fun camp activities. Rising 1st -rising 6th graders.

UNDER THE BIG TOP CIRCUSCome join the circus! Spend a week under the big top with fun games, animals, clowns, face painting, and more! Ages 5-7.

Week 8: July 29-August 2 MORNING SESSION OPTIONSPLEASANT PIRATESCome board the S.S. St. Paul for a fun-filled week of ad-venture including science experiments, pirate foods, tele-scopes, mapmaking and of course a little parrot talk! We will enjoy the adventures of Peter Pan and Captain Hook and who knows...we may even find a message in a bottle! Join science teacher Mrs. Haddock, kindergarten teacher Miss McGarry, and mates for a week of true excitement! Rising kindergarteners-rising 2nd graders.

SOCCER CAMPJoin Mrs. Susan Cobb to help your children develop strong technical and tactical soccer skills while fostering good sportsmanship. Students will receive appropriate chal-lenges to their skill/developmental levels with plenty of soccer fun and learning. Rising 2nd -rising 6th graders.

SNAPOLOGYSign up your child up for building and playing with Legos with Terri Black, Director of Snapology of Greater Nash-ville. This is a fun and creative way for students to better understand science, technology, engineering, and math concepts (STEM). Students will build awesome robotic models featuring working motors and sensors. Learning is enhanced through the use of software and laptops; each class will end with a free play session. Rising kindergar-teners-rising 6th graders.

We will paint, create, and even work with clay. Creative Campers will leave with many priceless art projects! Rising 2nd-rising 7th graders.

FUNDAMENTAL BASKETBALL SKILLSLed by Coaches Dan and Jenny Oliver, this camp is fo-cused on the instruction and learning of basketball fun-damental skills like footwork, lay-up and shooting form, ball-handling, and more. Additionally, there will be op-portunities for small-sided games that allow each player more opportunities to use these new skills in a fun-filled, game-oriented environment. Healthy snacks will be pro-vided daily. Rising 3rd-rising 6th graders.

SNAPOLOGYSign up your child for building and playing with Legos with Terri Black, Director of Snapology of Greater Nashville. This is a fun and creative way for students to better understand science, technology, engineering, and math concepts (STEM). Students will build awesome robotic models fea-turing working motors and sensors. Learning is enhanced through the use of software and laptops; each class will end with a free play session. Rising kindergarteners-rising 6th graders.

Each day, students will participate in five innova-tive modules presented by Mr. Huff. Kids will love it! Rising 1st graders-rising 6th graders.

Week 3: June 17-21 MORNING SESSION OPTIONSTHE GREAT OUTDOORS Come join Mr. Clausing on an excursion through Edwin and Percy Warner Parks. Each day we will hike a different trail that culminates in a fun team or individual activity. We will also go fishing, hunt for crawdads, and swim in the creek. Wear your boots because we’ll be getting dirty. Rising 4th-rising 6th graders.

TRACK & FIELD CAMPCome learn the fundamentals of track and field with Coach Cathy Cheeseman! We will teach and demonstrate proper running form, foot placement, arm carriage, and posture through a series of age-appropriate drills, games, and run-ning activities on the St. Paul track. We will also incorpo-rate relay work, long jump, and high jump for our more advanced track athletes. The athletes will be taught the importance of proper warm ups and cool down and will be trained to understand the major muscle groups used for running.

The week will also incorporate a trip to Vanderbilt on Thursday evening to compete in a low-key track meet run by the Nashville Striders. Your child can sign up to run several events and even run a relay! Be Strong! Be Fast! Rising kindergarteners-rising 6th graders.

Week 4: June 24-28 MORNING SESSION OPTIONSTHEATRE CAMP Calling all actors and actresses! Led by Miss Harris, this camp is your chance to take to the stage and learn the art of theatre. Students will focus on the skills needed in theatre, such as creating a character, improvising, memo-rization, acting/reacting, knowing objectives, and develop-ing spatial awareness. In addition students will gain ex-perience with blocking, set design, costuming, and using props. By the end of the week, we’ll put on a short play for friends and family! Rising 4th-rising 6th graders.

SPACE IN THIS PLACE Calling all astronauts! Come and take a spaceship to fun in outer space! This week we will learn skills while pretend-ing we are lost in outer space. Take a moonwalk, learn monkey jumps on Mars, play disappearing planets, and have a picnic on Jupiter. This week is sure to be packed with super space fun! Rising kindergarteners-rising 6th graders.

HOW DOES IT WORK? You may choose 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Morning Sessions ($160) or 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Full Day Camps ($160 Morning Session plus the $40 Full Day Add-On Camp). For all Morning Sessions, choose one of three camp options, based on the age parameters and your child’s interests. Please note that “rising” refers to your child’s grade in the 2013-2014 school year. For example, if your child is a current kinder-gartener rising to first grade in 2013-2014, then your child is eligible for all camps open to ris-ing first graders.
