    The Church ’s

    Christmas season

    begins the evening

    of December 24th.

    This year it ends on

    Sunday, January

    12!

  • Dear Parishioners, If you have had a chance to drive by the parish rectory when it's been dark, you have probably noticed something in my window. No, not my giant husky Koda. In the front window I have hanging what is known as a "parol" (translated "Star"). The Filipino parol is unique, colorful and bright star. They sometimes depict images, such as the holy family. The tradition of the parol, of course, comes from the star that led the wise men to Christ's nativity. In the Philippines, the parol grew in usage as a way to light the path as the faithful would journey to worship at Church. This Christmas and Christmas season, what a joy it is to know that Christ lights our way. God's love radiates the world with light so that we will never be alone or lost. On behalf of St. Paul staff, I wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas. May the light of Christ fill your hearts and homes. Maligayang Pasko. Merry Christmas. Feliz Navidad, Fr. No, no mi gigante perrito Koda. Maligayang Pasko. Merry Christmas. Feliz Navidad, P. Tetzel
