The Youth group requests your
presence this Sunday for the scavenger hunt!
Please “RSVP” by showing up. For those going
into 6th grade and all the
way through 12th grade,
this time is for you! Fun,
food, and fellowship is
guaranteed. Bring yourself and bring your
friends! 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Do you know what the kids are doing in Children’s Church while you stay in church for worship? They are having
their very own worship service, complete with acolytes and ushers. One of the jobs of the usher is to take our
offering and place it in the offering plate when we return to the main worship service. Have you noticed the
thermometer moving up on our World Service Fund (apportionments) poster? That is due in
part to Children’s Church, because we have been taking up an offering since Lent to help with
this goal. Parents, it would be great if you could send an offering with your kids for Chil-
dren’s Church and help us move that thermometer up!
BE AN ANGEL
Please consider donating yourself to the office for a few hours a week. We are in need of anyone
who can work from 9:00 a.m.-noon on Tuesdays to answer the phone. Office angel duty is not lim-
ited to the female sector!
Neighborly Blessings
Remember back on the 1st Sun-
days of April, May, and June when
we gathered at Jason’s Deli for lunch? This was part
of a fundraising effort where Jason’s donated 15% of
food purchases from anyone associated with St. Mat-
thew’s to our Children’s Ministry. The amount we re-
ceived from Jason’s was $245!
