Fr. Stephen Jones, priest in the Jefferson City
Diocese, will be interviewed on EWTN Mon-
day, Sept. 24th at 7pm on “The Journey
Home” with Marcus Grodi. Fr. Jones will dis-
cuss his journey from an Anglican priest,
married with 3 children, to a Roman Catholic
priest. EWTN is channel 100 with Charter
Spectrum.

On Thursday, Sept 20th, at approximately 2:30pm, the
“Trail of Death” Potawatomi Indian caravan will be stop-
ping at the Monroe County Courthouse in Paris for a re-
ception and blessing from Fr. Simeon. History on the trail
of death can be found in last week’s Catholic Missourian.

The Diocese of Jefferson City has posted a fulltime
job position opening for an administrative assistant on

St. Mary’s service team is currently fundraising to reroof
the Angstrom home. To help raise the funds needed, St.
Mary’s T-shirts and FAITH shirts are being sold for $15.

Donations for this project can be
made at the parish office as well.
“The Catholic Faith Explained”, adult educa-
tion for all Catholics, will be held at the FBC
Sun, Sept 30th at 6pm presented by St.
Mary’s Adult Ed Commission featuring Fr.
Simeon. Classes will be held once a month. A
sign-up sheet is in the back of the church.
