Next Sunday is CATECHETICAL SUNDAY, the day when our Church emphasizes the importance of religious instruction in the parishes of the Archeparchy. Special prayers for the “Beginning of the School Year” will be included during the Divine Liturgy. Authority will be given to our catechists to teach the faith of the Church by word and example. God’s holy Wisdom will be invoked upon them and their students for whom we also will pray and bless. All teachers and students are asked to be present at the Divine Liturgy.
