Our principle of unity is the Holy Spirit who reminds us that above all we are God’s beloved children. He comes to us, in our differences and difficulties to tell us that we have one Lord, Jesus, and one Father. For this reason we are brothers and sisters!
All Ushers – The new schedule can be picked up in the Parish Office or at the exit of church (door facing rectory). As we continue to work towards a normal weekend mass, the ushers are key to assisting parish members to gather in a safe manner. This makes it very important to find a substitute to fill in your scheduled spot if you will not be attending mass. Let Ed Cross know if you would like to help on a team. There is always a need for more ushers. Thank You Everyone for your commitment to our parish family.

Confessions - Call for an Appt. Greetings from St. Mary School, Our world seems to be spinning out of control and it is no wonder that our friends and families are feeling anxious and upset. Protests are happening all over our country and people have died in police custody. So, you might ask, is it something to discuss with children. I see it as an opportunity to teach our children that we are all made in the image and likeness of God. It means people of every race deserve dignity and rights. We need to teach our children to treat every person with respect. It is not always an easy lesson, but first and foremost we must teach “to love one another.” With the conclusion of another school year, we honor our 8th grade graduates. This year we had two 8th grad-ers: Savannah Guilette, daughter of Kevin and Jan Guilette, and Sam Zirbel, son of Rich Zirbel. We challenge both of them to go forth in this world and discover the vocation God has chosen for them. This will best be found through prayer and loving service to others. We will celebrate a private graduation service with the stu-dents and their families next week. We hope that through their years at St. Mary School they have gained the wisdom, knowledge and patience to guide them through their next four years of high school, and always re-membering they are a part of a loving community of faith led by clergy, parents, educators, and St. Mary pa-rishioners. Go forth practicing social justice as witnesses to God’s Kingdom, which is evident in all the teach-ings of Jesus. We ask God to bless you and you will always be a part of our prayers daily.
I am Savannah Guilette. I’ve attended St. Mary School since 3K. I’ve made many friends there. For high school I’m going to Southern Door in Brussels. I was told to pick a favorite memory, but I’ve made so many great memories there, and it’s hard to choose one. Since the school was small everyone was like family and made the experience there amazing. So, a big thank you to all the staff, students, and teachers who made the school feel like a second home.
My name is Sam Zirbel and I am graduating from 8th grade at St. Mary School. I will be attending Roncalli High School in the fall. I really have to thank the parish and the teachers for putting up with me through all the years. I obviously haven’t been the best student, but I have definitely learned enough that I think I'll be ready for high school. I will definitely miss having so much free time. My time here has flown by faster than I ever thought it would. My favorite memory is definitely the feeling when I would get a big project done and be able to turn it in. May you all stay safe and secure for the summer, Mrs. Cindy Massey
