ALTAR SERVER TRAINING STARTS THIS WEEK St. Martins is looking
for young men and women to serve the English speaking Masses.
Parishoners currently in the 4th grade through High School are
invited to submit your names for consideration. You must have made
your first Holy Communion. Training classes will be on Saturday
10/14; 10/21 and 10/28 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Attendance and
Completion of all sections of training is required. If you are

CHRISTIAN MEDIATION MEETINGSThis prayer is rooted in the
spiritual tradition of the Desert Fathers and Mothers, mystics, and
teachings by Father John Main OSB. No experience necessary. We meet

MEN OF EMMAUSSt. Martins Men of Emmaus, a faith formation group,
is currently reviewing and discussing sections of the Catechism of
the Catholic Church. Join us Saturday mornings in the Church Hall
beginning at 7:30. We wrap up about 8:50 in time to attend the

Gaithersburg Community Soup Kitchen Inc. The Lords TableThis is
its thirty-fourth year here in St. Martins Church Hall. Hot
nutritious meals are served daily Monday to Saturday, September to
June at 3:30 pm. Between 40 and 90 hungry, homeless and needy
people are fed each day. We are an Ecumenical volunteer
organization and operate solely on donations. Other than a
part-time paid Food Service person and a Security person, we are
completely volunteer. Adult volunteers are always needed, but we
are not permitted to accept walk-ins. If you are over 21 and can
make a commitment to once a month from 1:00-5:30 pm Monday to
