St. Augustine of Hippo
Help open the ears of the Faithful by becoming a Minister of the Word! We are recruiting members of the Parish who have received the Sacrament
of Confirmation to read at both Daily and Sunday Masses. Please prayerfully consider joining us!
We need you!
For more information, call Lorie Shekailo at (772) 485-1453 or email at [email protected].
How does the Cross bring about our salvation? How is it that Christ, being fully human and fully divine, is able to heal our relationship with God through his sacrificial death? What is the meaning of Jesus going to the realm of the dead and opening heaven’s gates? These questions and others will be addressed in out next session on November 7th when we delve more deeply into the Paschal Mystery, Jesus’ work of redemption, accomplished principally through his passion, death, Resurrection and Ascension into heaven.
Everyone is welcome, so don't forget to invite a friend! Tuesday evenings at 6 pm in the Parish Hall. Registration is FREE. Contact Susie Bobko 772-285-6251 or email [email protected] for more information and registration.

Did you know that each month of the year has a dedication? August is the Immaculate Heart, October is the
Rosary and November is.... All Saints!
Here are three reasons we recommend picking up a book or DVD about a Saint to read or watch this month:
1) Saints are real people. Reading the life of a Saint should give you the hope of heaven. They were real people
and had to work through the same things you do.
2) The Saints can teach history. Saints lived real lives at real times. Interested in learning where monasteries
started? How about genetic theories? Ask a saint!
3) Saints show you the way to heaven! What better way to get to the end of the journey than by following the
map?
Here are some saints to get to know this month:
- St. Francis Cabrini was the first U.S. saint to be canonized. She traveled the ocean 37 times to spread her
religious order.
- St. Elizabeth of Hungary was a princess who lived a generous life of poverty for
her people.
- St. Giuseppe Moscati was a brilliant doctor who could have taught at the
university but, instead, remained a family doctor with a special dedication to
helping the poor.
