That's tied for thelongest consecutive games streak Ovechkin has ever accomplished in his career (203 games, Feb. 3, 2006 through Oct. 25, 2008).Ovechkin's games played streak is currently the 19th longest streak in the NHL. Ovechkin leads the NHL this season with 29 goals, andhe's looking to become the first player to reach the 30 goal mark. Should he score tonight, it'll be the fifth time in his career Ovechkinreached the mark before any player, all of which occurred in the last seven seasons. Additionally, Ovechkin is one goal shy of joiningMike Gartner (15) as the only players in NHL history to begin their career with 14 consecutive 30-goal seasons, and one of threeplayers in NHL history with 14 seasons in a row at any point in his career with at least 30 goals (Gartner: 17; Jaromir Jagr: 15 seasons).Coming into tonight’s game. Ovechkin is now five goals shy of passing Dave Andreychuk (640) for 14th place on the NHL's all-timescoring list. Among the top 15 goal scorers all-time, Ovechkin's 0.61 goals per game ranks second (Mario Lemieux: 0.75 goals pergame). Ovechkin, who is already the all-time goal scorer among Russian-born players, is now 13 points away from passing SergeiFedorov (483g, 696a in 1,248 games) to become the highest scoring Russian-born player all-time. Oshie, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Alex Semin,Troy Brouwer).  All 12 of Vrana’s goals have come at even strength. Vrana is one of only three players in the NHL with at least 12 evenstrength goals without a power play goal (Toronto Maple Leafs’ Kasperi Kapanen: 13 goals: New York Islanders’ Brock Nelson: 12goals). Vrana has been on the ice for 30 goals at five-on-five this season, the second most among Capitals forwards (Ovechkin: 38). Nice and Kuzy - Evgeny Kuznetsov is one point shy of 300 career points. Kuznetsov, who has 34 points (7g, 25a) in 32 games, hasrecorded at least one point in all but seven games this season. Additionally, Kuznetsov's career 2.90 points and 2.05 assists per 60 minutesrank first among the 2010 NHL Draft class.
