Finding our voices and not being bystanders
Teachers are on the look out for students who are choosing kindness in our school. We are looking forward to finishing the term off in a positive and kind manner. Bus Zone and Pick Up & Drop Reminder We have been sent the following from the Road Safety Officer from the Narrandera Shire Council. Please ensure you adhere to these rules for the safety of all students and pedestrians. The Larmer Street entry/exit should only be used by students catching buses. This separates pedestrians
from the bus zone. Students not catching buses should exit the school by the Audley Street gate where crossing facilities and
ample parking are available. Children and Scooters If your child rides their scooter or bike to and from school could you please discuss the importance of road safety with them, particularly when crossing roads or laneways. We have received a call from a concerned community member who has witnessed a number of occasions where children have ridden straight across a laneway without stopping to check for traffic.

28th of March, 2019 To the Community of Narrandera, Our Response to ‘Don’t Stop the Music’ on ABC https://www.abc.net.au/events/dstm/
We are in year 6 at St Joseph’s Primary School in Narrandera. During our final year of primary school we would like to show our school spirit through music. We plan to entertain the younger classes and parents at our school by putting on a guitar concert. We would kindly like to ask for your help if you can.
We would really appreciate it if you could donate any acoustic guitars you have that are not currently being put to use. If you cannot donate but would kindly like to lend us a guitar for a few months, we can also organise for the guitar to be returned to you at the end of our project. We promise that the guitars will be in good hands and will be put to good use. Thank you for your time. Kind Regards, Year 6 - Zoe, Bellah, Kyah, Rylee, Alex, Darcy, Archie, Rachael, Aimee, Jorja, Ella, Sarah, Abigail, Agatha, Lara, Hallie, Lucy, Milly, Alison, Grace, Mia, April, Keely & Beau
